I have some on Sparky's beater now. really liked them because you can get a better grip than I imagine you would with side to side straps.

Nah I'm considering getting some though, I bought some Holdfast but I'm not a fan, just wanted to get some feedback on the restraps. You'd reccomend them then?

Apologies if this is a stupid question but I've never really had to venture down this route before. Giving the bike a clean today and I noticed that the chain, chainring and cog were caked in grime. I took the chain off and gave the chainring and sproket a good clean. Replacing my chain tomorrow, will I need to lube the chainring and sproket or will the lube on the chain suffice?
