I car-share at the moment, but at 19 miles round trip ive been considering going it on the ss for a while. only problem is work doesnt have showers and i need to be there by quarter to eight. maybe i should just move closer.

ive done 45 miles in the past but was real knackered afterwards. if the good weather holds out i should be able to get some rides in. be good to see some of you lot (and fellow brummies?) out there on the day.

Im signed up for a 65 mile Sportive in two weeks time which will be the longest ride i have done on my singlespeed to date. Im a bit jittery about my fitness level, any ideas what i should be doing in the run up?

yeah turns out i do painting workshops for kids in cotteridge on saturdays. pays pretty handsomely.
