With regret selling my Macbook Pro - Quad i7 2.3/3.4Ghz; 16gb Ram; 256SSD
A beast of a machine, really too much for me. It is an amazing machine - despite being a laptop it has only ever been used inside and is in excellent condtion, just a few very small marks on the casing but no dents and screen is perfect (superior Samsung panel not LG (those had ghosting) for those interested).
Running latest El Capitan, comes boxed with original charger (it has lost one of the plastic clips that holds the cable but otherwise perfect). Cost nearly £2000 new and has been perfect without incident since.
The cheapest retina 15" costs 1599 and includes inferior integrated graphics only. This is the mid 2012 model with GT650M Nvidia card. CPU scores just under 12000 on geekbench - again still holds its own with the latest models and smokes any of the 13 inch models.
Looking for £800 Cash on collection SE15. Thanks.

Hi
Having a January clearout of some tech to pave the way for more bike stuff.
Up for grabs are 2 awesome machines - both of which have some issues, hence the low price of £250 a pop. Some pics here https://goo.gl/photos/vuyxSpMLD3J9Dj1f7
First up:
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 i3 tablet/laptop hybrid. 64GB SSD, 4 GB RAM including MS Type cover and Black Surface Pen and Windows 10 Pro.
These are awesome machines and was my daily portable driver, until it fell onto a concrete floor, landing on the top right corner. Result - there is crack in the cover glass in the top right quarter, so the touch screen/pen now only works in the other 75% of the screen. Other than that the machine is in perfect working order - no damage to the LCD itself or dead pixels, it is just limited damage to the digitiser.
So the machine still works 100% as a laptop (with majority touch input still working) but is less suited to tablet duties or drawing.
Paid £639 a year ago, plus £109 for the keyboard and £45 for the black pen recently to replace the original pen that I lost.
Would make a great home machine or if you have no interest in tablet use (which frankly these machines aren't as great at due to Windows itself) then this is a bargain. N.B. if you ever wanted to get it fixed, some 3rd parties will do it, or you can get an out of warranty replacement (i.e. new machine) for £216 from MS last time I checked. So that would still be bargain price for this.
Or if you are more a Mac person...
Apple Macbook Air 11 inch (Late 2010) 1.4Ghz Core2Duo; 64GB SSD, 4GB Ram plus Apple USB keyboard w/numeric pad, Mighty Mouse, Micro Displayport to HDMI adaptor and 2x Apple MagSafe adaptors (one well used, other boxed as new). OS X El Capitan (latest)
My wife's old laptop finally retired, as it has developed an intermittent keyboard issue, where only about 50% of the keys work. Otherwise operates perfectly. No problems with trackpad or screen or anything else. Not sure it is hardware or software related, and I imagine could be an easy fix if you're willing to invest the time.
As such we've been using it for the last 6 months as essentially a Mac mini with a built in screen- adding a USB keyboard, mouse. I'm also throwing in a HDMI adaptor so you could go all the way an make this a desktop or cheap media server for your TV.
Both items are collection only SE15 evenings or weekends. Both machines have original boxes to boot.
Thanks for looking

Up for grabs is a nearly new (3 weeks old, mint boxed as new) Nvidia Shield Tablet. Amazing spec for gaming and work (see pic) - Tegra K1 cpu, 8 inch 1920x1200 display, 32GB (+microsd slot), LTE 4g modem. Smokes the ipad air/mini. Includes DirectStylus (really useful for onenote, evernote or drawing apps) and official Nvidia case (rrp £29.99). I'll also throw in a USB OTG cable to allow you connect game controllers/hd/mouse etc
One of few devices out there running official Android 5.1 lollipop, which is awesome. Only selling as I already have a phablet and surface, so surplus to requires.
RRP for this is £330 - I'm selling for just £225. Cash on collection SE15 (eve) or E14 (daytime)
Thanks

Just to clarify, on the warranty point the usual EU 2 year statutory rule would apply http://www.apple.com/uk/legal/statutory-warranty/ - that's why I don't bother with applecare anymore
