was hoping this mornings rain would clear the air but its stickier than ever (thunderstorm this afternoon please )....stuck in lightweight yet quickly reeking man-made fibre jerseys or smell free yet too thick/hot woolen jersey quandry...arse

er...maybe im missing something...but does it really take 2 pages to discuss wether or not to comply with road traffic law?
seems the only justification is saving time...doesnt seem worth endangering yourself and/or pedestrians to shave a few seconds
if the situation was reversed and we were discussing a cyclist killed/injured by a car driver jumping a red i can just imagine the moral indignation....

up for grabs...an extremely rare original SE Racing OM flyer (steel looptail frame - pre-Fuji )...its the Enduro model, so late 80's/early 90's (?)...with mech hanger and various cable end bosses - i think it came with a Sachs "twin drive" (hub 3 speed AND cassette/freewheel) as an option
its black
its in pretty good nick...id say 8/10...could use a respray ideallyfew nicks/scratches here and there but nothing super-ugly and theres some surface rust in a few spots that ive sanded off/touched up
replacement decals can be found on Ebay
currently in single speed modespec:
odyssey triple trap pedals/cobra seat/torque converter spider
Redline one piece cranks
DK bars and stem
shimano canti brakes/levers
femco rims on joytech/sovos hubsits a sweet bike and im loath to sell it but holiday and a new road bike project makes it necessary...the last one i saw on Ebay went for £650 from memory ( about 18 months ago)...
im in Clapton E5price? i cant be arsed with Ebay,so £500 for a quick sale?

Each to their own!
I've had to deal with him and various guises of the BM's over the years. He's still an entrenched stuck in the mud and generally a bit of an arse to deal with. Sort of like a southern Mark E Smith, but without the imagination or sense of fun.
We'll just have to disagree on the 'complex and creative' bit, he got eclipsed by Tracey Emin and that still annoys him.
i like Garage, what can i say? its allways gonna sound the same if youre playing to genre-type...im not hoping to find innovation, i want to hear the same old chords played on loud amps with maybe a farfissa/hammond organ...
and he's allways been fun when ive seen em live...better looking thamn Emin as well ( mind, thats not hard! ;) )

Hammering a nail through my foot would beat listening to Queen - or Billy fucking Childish and his just-as-clueless mates.
er...well theres no accounting for taste true, and the world would be a very boring place if we all liked the same shit....but describing ex-members of influential/cult bands The Prisoners/Headcoats/SolarFlares as "clueless" is just damn ignorant!

top thread! truly the finest music EVER (well, apart from Northern Soul/Blue Note Mod Jazz/Hammond organ heavy 60s RnB...)
reggae/ska heads may well like one or all of the following club-nites:
*Set the Tone 67 - every last saturday of the month at The Social, little portland street - heavyweight original 60s skinhead reggae/ska/rocksteady...look em up on myspace/facebook
*Boom Shacka Lacka - again, top reggae sounds ("the sound of young jamaica") plus some motown/northern soul at the Sun and 13 Cantons, soho....2nd thursday of the month from memory - again, find em on facebook
*Wreck it Up! - 93 feet east, ist wednesday of the month (i think)...search facebook...you guessed it, more heavy heavy skinhead sounds
and heres my pennysworth...
