Actually, mmcarthy... I think Fitzy was referring to a virtual feminist bra-burning, which would be ok... and within their rights.
how right you are - my virtual breasts are indeed begging to be liberated from their confining, misogynistic, underwired, push-up, cleavage enhancing, lace-trimmed, oh-so-very-handy-when-needing-to-get-him-to-agree-to-something-he-would-rather-not-do, undergarments.
but no, you can't all watch.
and greasy, i thought you liked it when the laydeez talked dirty?

dammit - got here too late! and i had a lovely big gallon drum of virtual petrol all ready to throw with an 'all men are potential rapists' '70's feminist throwback stance...
but really i'm with Stelle - who gives... if the posts people make mean they come over as sexist/racist/homophobic, it means at some level they probably are. but life's too short and i've got better things to do than call up every fucker who makes some throwaway offfensive comment on an internet forum.
but hugs? definitely, always well up for hugs :) even if they are sometimes a little bit patronising, as long as it means he'll reach something down off the shelf for me...

is it advertising/drama/doc/public service (BBC/C4) or commerical broadcaster? they all have different rates - for ads/commercial broadcasters, you could expect at least £1000 a day (all other factors mentioned above, leccy etc, extra). For public service/dramas/docs, probably closer to £750. you can negotiate on fee depending on how prominently your location will be featured in the finished thing too.
At the risk of pissing them off and them finding somewhere else altogether, i would suggest that you don't go with an hourly rate, as the disruption to you will be more than how long they're in for but ask for blocks of half day payments instead for an 8hr day and then an hourly overtime rate.
hope they're good to you - most film crews are pretty friendly and if you get on the right side of them, you can get some good kick-backs too

i guess you and jayloo made it out then? i got stuck down south in the hope of it dying down before i headed home... fat chance!...anyhoo...
...i was really hoping to make it last night as not around at next week - it's corny's leaving drinks from work and this, i cannot miss! - but if anyone fancies a drink on the 15th, i'm having some friends round. not the usual wests night, but it's good to break with tradition every so often.
maccarthy - was there notice of your attendence? not that i got there anyway, but it would've been nice to see you :)

track fail for me - i'm off in the country that weekend but even if i was here, i'd be rubbish so....
was keen on the sunday ride thing as well as another one of these babies before the weather gets too shite...
how about the windsor route? is it too flat and boring for everyone? it is 23 miles, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad one...
