Having invested in a Tacx Fortius turbo trainer the software isn't compatible with my mac and as I can't get bootcamp to work i'm looking for a PC with the following spec:
Pentium IV processor, 1024MB Memory, Direct X9 compatible 3D graphics card with 256MB memory (GeForce FX or equivalent) DirectSound compatible sound card, 1 free USB port, Windows 2000, XP or Vista
I have a monitor so that's not requried - does anyone have anything suitable lying around that they would be willing to part with for a few quid?
Cheers

About eight police on bikes in Richmond Park this morning, generally being nice to cyclists and pulling lots of cars over.
Also spotted icicles on my eyelashes and the loss of feeling in my fingers and toes on lap two... Only then to get into work to find that hotwater and heating wasn’t working. Nice.

Was thinking about buying this as a project... has anyone got any advice? would drum brakes be a nightmare and what about working with old school parts such as cottered cranks?
If i'm after such a bike would it just be better to get a lighter more modern bike such as a specailized globe for example?

Looking for a dutch bike with a front and rear rack, reliable, flexible and trustworthy enough for me to safely carry a smallish dog in the front rack!
Looking to spend below £200 - I can't justify spending any more than that, as there is always the far cheaper option of bolting on a front rack to my current bike.
Not sure on how the frame sizes come up, but it would need to suit 5'11'' me.
I only actually need it for a month or so, but it might be a good introduction to the practical world of dutch work bike ownership that is apparently quite a compelling long-term place to be.
Please PM with any offers/suggestions...
Cheers

Selling my 2007 Genesis Flyer as I am running out of space for my bikes.
58cm bike all original parts - fixed/free hub, etc. bar a Charge saddle and it now has bull horn bars and the appropriate bar end levers - I can supply with original bars and levers unfitted if required.
The bike was used daily for a couple of years and has the marks on the paint work to show that, however the frame is perfect no crashes, dings or dents. Recently had a new chain and pads so it's running well.
I'm 6ft and the bike fits me perfectly.
No pedals, but i will throw in some Bontranger RE-1's and cleats for an extra £20.
Looking for £190 ONO.
No postage pick up from SW12
