Just cycling off to work this morning, and noticed Bertie in the pub car park and a woman following him. (we live next to a pub)
I stopped, cycled back to the pub and said oh thats our cat Bertie, because I was wondering what she was doing.
She said yes i know !?
I said how do you know ?
She apparently lives or works there... might be the land lady, she was worried about the lorry deliveries and that he might get run over.... she was feeding him cat biscuits ! (cos most people have cat biscuits in their pockets !)
Should I not be annoyed that she was feeding him biscuits.
He has got a bit chubber lately and I thought it was because he is just becoming a man and all, but now I think I have a second feeder who wants my kitteh !?
Anyway I cycled off, but all the way I was thinking I should of told her not to feed him !
If she didnt feed him he wouldnt be in the bloody car park to start with. -
Sunday up at 7.15am, out by 8am. Sun was out.
Decided i was too skint for the train back from Brighton.
So decided to head out to Guildford and back.... ended up in Woking, cup of tea and a almond croissant, headed home...not alot more to add.... not many hills, bit boring really.
Too many cars, and didnt enjoy the landscape as much as out to Crawley last week. Anyway 44 miles done...More of Sussex on the coming weekends :)

Woke up at silly o'clock yesterday morning, so decided to get up and head out... Gosh it was chilly.... time to get the tights back out.
Headed out toward Ewell and Epsom, up to Epsom downs around the race course, onto Tadworth then back onto the main route to Reigate...Sheep in dewey fields the sun rising casting a long warm glow over the smoky landscape... passed rivers and woods....onto Chaldon and ifield then stopped for a cake break at 25 miles around Crawley, decision time... onward to Brighton or head back ?..... headed back, still in shell jacket with cold tootsies.... thinking about a hot bubble bath... so onward and up that lovely Reigate f***ing hill.....
Just started to rain on the final 4-5 miles.....home.... 3 hours rolling some hills done and a nice hot bath with tea and more cake and then a second breakfast :) -
Yup, nice and oily roads plus everyone out for them selves.....

Tumble turns are easy when youve done them for years.
Learning them needs persistence.
And a few techniques.
1 breathe out of your nose as you turn over.... dont and youre gonna get a nose full and then feel the burn
2 relax, slow to start with
3 practice practice practice.Start with a noodle or woggle and do them in semi shallow water first. From standing.
The tighter your chin is to chest.. the faster you go.
Remember to breathe out your nose :)
Kip the hips and feet in line with the horizon. Just rotating straight around and back to standing to start with. -
