If youre starting in Lands end, then your first pub, is ' The first and last in ' in a place called Sennen.http://www.firstandlastinn.co.uk/history.htmlIf you are going to start that far west, then you should really visit, Sennen cove... theres a pub near the beach too.... plus a nice big hill on your return.....After that, i'd head through, st.Just , through Botallack ( amazing coast line !..... tin mines )Through, Morvah, Zennor ( bleak ), up to st ives.... round through carbis bay, lelant, to St erth village... along the river to Relubbus... up through goldsithney.... down to perranuthnoe, then marazion ( st michael mount )..... back to penzance....and finally Lamorna cove...... little gem .right thats my holiday planned.....but they are im sure lots of other beautiful circuits all over Kernow.:)I cant think of anywhere better to chill out and cycle.... oh and take a waterproof.... cornwall is a pennisula.... it rains.... :)

The thing is...... I bought my helmet a few years ago when I decided to get back on me bike, after having my son..... it's a candy pink Specialized....wasnt cheap.okay fine.... dont really like wearing it, but did.....the only thing is... I bought a TRICROSS ( yep, Specialized ) in jan.... and I have Specialized spd shoes...... okay so theyre 8 years old... so i got them first....BUT, I seriously cant wear and ride all those items together..... I look like a bl00dy advert !( wonder if i can peel the sticker off the helmet ? )

Mine sounds very similar to Markrjohnsons Its is over a year old now, done over 3000 miles on it, running it fixed and pretty stock apart from taking the rear brake off, putting 28c Gatorskins on and ditching the chicken levers.
Did find it creaking a bit but that was the chainring bolts working loose. It's a pleasure to ride and I look forward to using it.Do you mean you took it off completely ? Cos I dont even use the back brake on mine, and was considering taking it off.... ??

Im with Guerilla..... lets make big signs..... HGV cab height, to the left , attached to street light pole or traffic lights..... sign to HGV driver... ' Watch out Left - Cyclists'
and a sign at cycle level height too ' Watch out for lorries turning left '
or something along those lines........
