Dammit,
Shipping is included in the price. I am in a big cleaning overhere and you maybe have seen me more frame (and rolling chassis) selling. Like with all my frames it will be packed in foam central heating isolation tubing and everything goes into a study bike box. So far I heard nobody complaining about something not arriving in good order.

Offering Koga-Miyata RecordPro 'rolling chassis'
Package deal for frame, fork, some tech and wheels, hence rolling chassis.
The 1988 Koga RecordPro was an advanced bike in its time. It came equipped with full Dura-Ace 7400, 2 disc wheels and space age cockpit. View last pic in this post for built bike. With all this heavy artillery the battleship costed 13K in guilders in '88. The guilder is a currency from ancient times, but to give you an idea: For the same money you could have bought yourself a VW Polo or a couple nice Colnagos. That is also part of the reason why it is as rare as it is.
The frame
Brazed without lugs using triple butted Hardtlite FM-1 'Spiral Spline' tubing from Miyata's own(!) tubing mill. The tubing has (internal) spiral shaped reinforcements at the ends. The frame is very well made. It has quality dropouts and the connections towards the tubing are neatly done. The frame has the fastback type of seatstays that connect directly to the binderbolt housing. Brakecable through toptube. Frame is partially chromed.Features
- Miyata Hardtlite FM-1, Spiral Spline tubing
- brazed without lugs
- frame takes a 650 front wheel and a 700c rear wheel (included)
- rearbrake cable through toptube
- partially chromed
- galvanized, 7 step coat
- Shimano dropouts and shiftcable guides on top bb shell
- race number fitting
I have been told this particular frame belonged to Marcel Duijn and has been raced to the Dutch National TT Title in the under 23 category. I can not confirm this personally.
Condition
There are cosmetic imperfection in the paint, with what I mean that it is a used frame and that you will find scratches and chips. Two specific issues worth mentioning: At a certain point the shifter braze on is moved from on top the downtube to the sides. The partial repaint that was done there is not performed very well. No proper surface preperation done, so some surface rust grabbed its chance there. Nothing severe, but you will have to take care of it: Clean, surface preperation (base coat), paint. Secondly, there is rust present under the chrome on the fork blades. Only lower part. Not very well visible, but in case it bothers you, it leaves you one option: Rechroming. Or repainting, if you can do without chrome. Structurally the frame is 100% sound.Comes with
- Dura Ace headset, repacked, buttersmooth
- seatbinder bolt
- Dura Ace fronthub radially laced to Wolber 650 rim
- Dura Ace rearhub laced to Rigida DP18 rim

Intermezzo! No Gazelle, but another Dutch: Batavus.
Batavus is the other large Dutch manufacturer. Sometimes Gazelle took the lead, in other years it was Batavus. Both had their performance orientated frames made in house at their own small series/custom department . Gazelle had their.... Champion Mondial line up. Batavus carried the 'Professional'. Traditional 3rd of the Dutch manufacturers was Union, but they outsourced the performance aimed frames. They had their thoroughbreds made with Gianni Motta in Italy.
I picked up this Batavus Professional a couple of weeks ago >>>
Mid 80s frameset in teampaint. I picked it up as full bike. Its previous owner told me it started its live in competition. After it was retired from racing this roadframe had been used on the track for a couple of years! Particular track-typical scratches on the seatstays kinda confirm this. When I picked it up it was equipped with parts donated by most likely a 70s low end Raleigh. No idea why and I couldn't get an explanation for it, but what I did know for sure immediately was the parts would have to fly a la minute when home.
The frame has no tubing decal. Around that time Professionals could be had with Reynolds 531C, Reynolds 531P, Columbus SL or Columbus SP. SLX came little later. SP was mostly used with larger frames. I do not feel spiral shaped butting under inside the steerer (SL), so I think most likely 531C or 531P is used for this frame. Lugs are like with Gazelle Bocama longpoint >>>
The braze on under the toptube is for holding the race number.Metal 'Batavus' headbadge >>
I do not have plans for this newly acquired frame yet. This frame is a little small for me, so building a serious roadbike with it does not seem to work for me. I could do a fun theme, making use of the fixed or ss concept. Finally I could also hang it on the wall, as a piece of art sort like, but that is not were it is made for. More for this >>>
On the cover of the 1984 catalogueOverall the Professional line up was not as broad as the Champion Mondial line up. Champion Mondial also included randonneurs, stayers, aerobikes among more. The Champion Mondial is also made in larger numbers. Both series are well made with keeping eye on what they are intended for. Nothing ueberfancy with plenty decoration, but Dutch pragmatic.

if I have disposable income, I'd think about getting a nice little transport from them.
I am familiar with his work and like you I would also love to own an ANT. Like everywhere mighty 4wd's were the rage here, but we have a cycleculture also. You would think that with nowadays more concious attitude buying a classy bike with a price tag in height of only a sun roof in the trusty 4wd should become the new fashion among some.
Mike previously worked for Fat City Cycles. Fortunately I am able to experience the joy of a FAT regularly.

DC,
This one was too when I got my hands on it. You can still see the Dura-Ace headset in the pictures. The Columbus SP one I have, came with DA too. I will speccing it with 1st gen Super Record as it goes nicely with Italian tubing. Of course the Dura-Ace is great stuff too.
I recall seeing such a team bike in pearly gold advertised nearby recently. Quite a pricey piece it was.

Offering late 70s Batavus Professional frame and forks
I have two of these exactly same white 61cm frames. They only differ in that one is made of Columbus SP and the other of Reynolds 531. I plan to build the Columbus one with early Super Record, what will be really nice. The 531 one I have no plans for and is now available.
Batavus Professional
The BPs are fine performance aimed frames, handmade by Batavus own racing department in Friesland, The Netherlands. The challenger of Gazelle's Champion Mondial in many competitions troughout the 70s, 80s and 90s. The later have even been raced to Gold medals by Leontien v. Moorsel.Features
- full Reynolds 531 butted tubing
- Bocama longpoint lugs
- Campagnolo dropouts
- chromed blades
- black pinstriping
- Seattube 61cm C-T
- Toptube 575mm
Condition
You have to live with cosmetic imperfections in the paint and some touch up. If you can't this 1st class frame is great candidate for a new powdercoat ...or wetpaint. Structurally the frame is 100%. View pics to form your own opinion.Looking for 110 GBP shipped.

Offering high end Nishiki frame and fork including wheels.
Frame:
Tange Champion tubing, probably #2 or #1. Very light frame. Partially chromed. 'Crown' engravings present in lugwork, 'K' (Kawamura built) cutout in bottom bracket shell. Shimano dropouts and cableguides on top bb shell. The bike donated the original Dura Ace EX parts to my Zieleman build. I feel very bad about it.Size:
Seattube 58cm c-t
Toptube 565mmCondition:
It is a used frame. Expect little cablerub at headtube, the usual chips from having a pump fitted and a couple more imperfections, in particular near seatpost exit. For a concours winning example it falls short, for a rider it is nice. Quite low milage and that is also why it donates its parts. Structurally 100% sound frame. The seattube has a postalcode engraved. This is Dutch way of theft prevention. There is also a Police sticker present on top the downtube that makes mention of the anti-theft measure.Wheels:
- Shimano 600EX hubs with HG body! Smooth function.
- Hoshi butted spokes
- Mavic Open 4 CD rims with very little wear by braking, see pictures
- Conti blue wall tyres, fresh and good for many miles
- innertyres
I will also trow in the 7 speed HG cassette and chain.
Looking for 150GBP including shipping. * SOLD pending payment *

@dicki
You're selling the full bike? I posted a heads up on Retrobike.Any idea what this Gazelle is all about? Just picked it up, and might turn it into a SS
Gazelle Champion Mondial with a really odd paintjob. Looks like the frame was white and the previous owner sprayed it over with red spots, but failed to do a proper job.
Interesting, cross bike with internal cable routing. I do not spot wrap over stays. Oddball to me. I can't explain, but maybe some others can and of course pretty much went custom too, so if someone wanted that 'why not', they thought probably.

Oh man, mavic zap!! Does it still work? Did it EVER work? :P
Actually on the Vitus it did work quite well. When I got the bike the battery was empty, so I had to wait a couple of days before the shop opened and I could test it. It was some kind of holidays. It felt like a century. When shops opened I found the battery I needed at a photoshop. It is a quite costly battery that some cameras use. Back home I immediately installed and found out that it worked flawlessly! Phoe..
