Condition:
Slightly used, but very good condition. A little bit rub on non-drive crank. Original pads have a lot meat left, as they rarely met the machined rim flanges. Smooth hubs, wheels perfect straight. As the bike spent of its live on a Tacx hometrainer the rear quick release is a Tacx example.

Thanks, guys. Yes, it is a great frame. I feel sad to let it go, but I want to keep focus with my collection, which will be mainly Dutch. The connaisseur of British bikes or him/her who want a superb steel frame will be very happy with it.

Offering Raleigh Panasonic 753R frameset including Nuovo Record headset SOLD

Svelte superduper advanced early 80's frame built from Reynolds 753R tubing. Drilled Campagnolo ends and dropouts for extra weight saving. The serial is SB6663. 'SB' denotes built by Raleigh's Special Bicycle Development Unit in Ilkeston, but people in the market for such a fine frame probably already know this.

It is a unique size 62cm c-t frame.

Condition
Cosmetically: it is not new, but given its age it is an attractive looking frame. Original paint! On several places there is paint is off, for example on toptube cableguides, where the pump sat fitted and where the rear tire rubbed the chainstay at some point. Small dent caused by the pump falling and get stuck during a ride. According to the 1st owner that already happened when the bike was new, so this doesn't cause any trouble. I personally treated places where the paint is off with a clear rust prevention coat using a very fine 00 pencil. Not noticable and you could paint it over if you want. I applied a carnuba wax treatment for ultimate shine and protection. Pictures will tell more than many pages text. Take a look, I have attached are many. Structurally the frame is 100% sound.

Thx for the kind words and the bumbs, guys. The frame is built by Frank Groot in the old little shop in Alkmaar. Frank is son of Jan. Jan established Vittorio in 1935. I did both l'Eroica and the Retro Ronde v Vlaanderen on a Vittorio Strada that Jan built in the early 80s.

Nowadays Vittorio is based in Heerhugowaard (neighbouring town of Alkmaar). On the first store they have a display with about 20 Vittorio classics.

Very nice blend of old world quality with new world quality: custom handmade in Holland frame and modern features like ErgoPower and triple chainset. The frame is a brazed with lugs construction, using Columbus Brain tubing. The extended headtube enables you to drop the quill stem and hence creating a stiff front end ...or you can opt for sitting more upright by raising the stem. Campagnolo supplied the Veloce 3x9 ErgoPower groupset and (very valuable) Atlanta 1996 rims.

The Vredestein tires complement the Dutch bike in both origins and colour :) I will trow in a second NOS pair of the tires.

Fine French roadbike from carbon composite material from Bernard Tapie's LOOK. Back in the 80s a revolutionary frameset. Top quality Italian parts: Chorus group with 2nd generation Syncro and lush monoplaner brakes. Cinelli supplied the cockpit: XA stem and Campione del Mondo drops. You sit comfortable on the Selle Italia TriMatic seat, but if you wish an all black seat from aesthetic perspective that can be arranged. Threadless computer included.

Very nice. Former owner tried to create a more modernish look by spraying the lugs in black and removing a top- and seattube decal. He did a tidy job, but as the decals sat under a clearcoat you can see their contours. The Campagnolo groupset is both aestheticly and functionally in a very nice shape.

I have a Batavus Professional cyclo cross bike for that purpose. I have prepared it so I could come, but atm I am not sure whether I will make it. I learnt riding off road on mountainbikes around 1990. I started with vintage bikes around the millenium. Initially mountainbikes and a couple years later roadbikes. I will be organising a vintage mountainbike event on 5/6/7/8 september near Arnhem, NL.
