wearing headphones while riding a bicycle in town makes you less aware of your surroundings than not wearing headphones.
But you can be excellent in all other aspects of how you're riding and as a whole be better than many non-headphone-wearing cyclists.
I personally don't listen to music 'on the go' but I can completely understand why someone would.
At least people might shut up about helmets for a bit.

Ever since I got a Macbook Pro my home wifi has been dropping off regularly, sometimes several times a day. I've used PC laptops with Virgin Media for about 6 years with no problems, then I got the MBP and boom. Shit internet. (When it happens I check my phone and it's also lost wifi so it's not just the MBP losing connection).
Is this really a thing that might happen or is it just coincidence? Anything I might try next time it happens?

I never normally wear a helmet commuting, but do wear one when out in the lanes.
How come?
Re visibility; I've been driving quite a lot in the countryside recently, at night, and every cyclist I see has shitty lights and maybe a grubby "hi-vis" top that might as well be a brown coat... But I've seen every one well in advance, if they're coming towards me I can even work out how wide their bars are by seeing their hands. Even the ones with no lights are visible. Is it because I'm a cyclist? Or do I have special powers?

Sorry not really contributing so much but do most vegans eat fungus based meat substitutes?
Pretty sure most analogues are made from soya protein and/or vegetable proteins, which can mean quite different things, but not fungi. Quorn is the well-known mycoprotein-based analogue but it also contains eggs.
Thanks, I couldn't be bothered to google it.
