Some friends and I are riding through the night on the 15th from bourne end in berkshire to ashley cross in poole.
Picking up the bournemouth route(100 club route) as soon as we can and stopping in the new forest for a picnic at dawn before finishing the ride in le bataeu in ashley cross for a slap up breakfast
We will be leaving bourne end around ten pm from outside on2wheels bike shop on the high street and gently cruising along.
Anyone done this route before got any tips of where to stop along the way or likely places to get lost. Or if you wanna tag along

Originally from Saaaaaauufffend, now out in the chiltern hills
Used to ride up and down the seafront when i was younger, and crazy rides to upminster and some woods near there somewhere (a real long ride when your a kid)
off topic a bit but are they really holding the olympic mtb near hadleigh castle? I used to ride there all the time, learnt to drift an mtb there - oh happy days

Planning on stuffing as much as I can into pockets rather than take a bag, although going to check gear tonight as I not sure ten ginsters pasties, a bottle of pop and some jelly and ice cream will fit.Must remember to charge lights too to avoid idiot moment when replacing flat battery with another flat battery like 24/12 last year.

Ran these for about two years on my ss mountainbike. Great and make anything with suspension.feel like a fat slug. Found they could be ridden anywhere although got a few funny looks (and bruised hands) at afan. Wasn't slow over the rocks but you have to be really careful with your line. They are pretty tough as I have used them for dirt jumping but this is not recomended by pace.
Once you stop worrying about them flexing and watch the trail - ace. Wish I still had my ss mtb :-( -

Must have been a day for it as on the way home a dozy van driver pulled alongside me in slow moving traffic and pushed me against the curb. He stopped when I hit the side of his van. Must have stopped him reading porn... Obvoiusly no wiser as he overtook me again a few minutes later and imeadiately turned left leaving me to pull up sharp Twat.
Must be the good weather brings out the daydreaming drivers.

Riding to work this morning through the rough town of Windsor - that queenie can be a right fucker and set the hounds on you - I ride to the front of a long line of traffic because of roadworkâs, do my usual wobbly attempt at a trackstand. Lights to green and off i go being careful to leave plenty of room for cars to get round as the sun is shinning and im nice like that
Little new blue Clio comes past with a red faced-screaming-horn blearing-giving the finger women (not being sexist but it looked like a women at least)
I check to make sure my head is not on fire, or am bleeding horrifically just to make sure her outburst is not a valid one before laughing back at her and waving...
That helped her deal with her anger in a more productive way by going a rather pleasing shade of red before belching hydrocarbons out of her crappy little car
How can people get so worked up before 7 in the morning, your driving to work chill out. God help the poor soul that has to work with such a temperamental bitch
Made me chuckle the rest of the way to work at least
