Picked up yesterday, and from a first glance I'm very happy with it. The paint job is a bit marmite-y, I can't decide whether I love it or hate it. It comes out a bit peachy/pinky than in the photos... I love the chrome but not so sure about the peachy bits. My first reaction was to get a respray, but I got several compliments on it on my way home and now it's spent the night sat in my room I have to say its growing on me! Other than that the geometry looks pretty extreme (which I'm excited about) but will be hard to judge for sure until I get some wheels on it.

Looking forward to getting it built up, but will probably take a while as and when funds are available.

All in all very happy!

My key snapped off in the lock outside work. Went back at the weekend at about 11:00pm (only time I was free) and strung 3 extension cords out of the office coffee room (2nd floor) across the car park and to the street where the bike racks are and used an angle grinder on it.

Loads of passers by, and right in view of the University security office - loads of noise and loads of sparks in the dark - I got loads of worried looks but still no one said anything.

Mains powered industrial sized angle grinder ftw... took about a minute!

I think it's because they are acustomed to driving on motorways and in Milton Keynes.

They aren't even safe in Milton Keynes... I got taken out by one when driving there. Was turning right around a roundabout (with plenty of space) when the coach beside me suddenly and inexplicably changed lanes without any indication. Smashed me between the coach and the wall of the roundabout. Middle of the night so no witnesses and no CCTV, still waiting for insurance payout and possibly have to go and argue it out in court.

Damn... too late!
