Yeah my experience with the cleat recess on the chrome kursks was that it was way too shallow too. Made it so there was a point of my stride where it was just metal on the ground which made it slippy like walking on ice. And then the clack sound it made was irritating.

My order of a black pair that was expected delivery of the 28th of July has now been updated to say "This item will be shipped as soon as it's back in stock, within the next 14 days." Bit annoying. I was kind of tempted to order a pair of the red ones to see if they might arrive a bit earlier and to have a second pair but after reading sohi's post, I'm not sure.

I am tempted by a trap bar but I've just set up and invested in my home gym so I want to get properly back into the routine of working out before getting anything else. (And I wouldn't be sure how to store it tbh).

At what kind of weight have people here started using straps for deadlifts? I'm at 100kg worksets atm and I don't think I'll be able to continue on increasing the weight much more, but I was wondering if my grip strength is something I should try work on before relying on a crutch
