Hi thanks,
I'm getting my head round the whole chainline thing. I have a conversion and upgrading the BB and crank and now realize that my back wheel is pretty much useless til its respaced and redished or i buy a new one. o dearthere is mention of a set up using a 110mm, and one with 103. I'm guessing the 110 is with 120mm rear frame and the 103 with a 110 track frame? Can anyone confirm?

Hi everyone,
A common problem by all accounts, i have read and re-read almost all the threads and Sheldon Brown on this topic and i still can't get the bastard off.
Its a 1979 Peugoet with the original BB still in it, the fixed cup is firmly in place and the only thing i haven't done is try with Sheldons nut washer and bolt homemade extractor. I bought a Paw 12 Park tool Spanner which i managed to burr the edges on as well. I am trying to undone it lefty loosey cause by all accounts 79 Peugoets still ued french BB's.
What i want to know is what is the best bike shop in North london to take it to get the BB cup off and fit the threadless BB i bought (till i can afford to get it re-threaded) and re-space my old back wheel to get the chainline right?
I bought the £70 cranks and chainset for BLB and have a 110mm YST threadless BB.
i took it down to Top Rider in Enfield and the guy was quite rude and didn't want to be bothered by it. He obviously didn't want my cash in his till.
Or if anyone wants to pick up a couple of extra quid tomorrow and live near N21 and has experience and the tools to removing stubborn BB's please get in touch.
thanks in advance for any help

Hi i have an vintage Peugeut with a very noisy lumpy BB and have decided to get it sorted. Problem is it also has old style cranks with a cotter pins which i hate and want to swap out.
So i need some cranks. I'm not really quick enough round here to pick up the best deals and its only a commute/project bike so nothing too expensive.
Cheers

I support the riding better while drunk theory. I have surfed much better after a few beers, to the point where i could hardly paddle and if i fell off my board i probably would have drowned, once i stood up i was Kelly Slater. I think its the whole mime theory (body learns movements etc) after all isn;t there a saying; "just like riding a bike.."
