Planning on building myself up a set of nice wheels for my good fixie. Probably DA high flange hubs and CXP33's or the similar and aero speed spokes. Should I go for 32 or 36 spokes though? Im not very heavy, say 12 stone, but the roads I ride on are pretty badly surfaced with no real choice of a smooth line.
Are there any other advantages/disadvantages to each apart from the obvious weight/stiffness ones?

Ive got a couple of wheels for sale, now surplus to requirements.
Rear silver Open Pro 32h built onto a System EX flip/flop hub (120mm), 3x DT Swiss spokes. Runs arrow straight, bearings recently replaced. Rim has been braked on. New track nuts included.
£40 collected from Reading, or will post at cost.Front Mavic MA3 36h build onto some vintage high flange french hub. The bearings are not the best, nor are the axle threads unfortunately. The hub is quite nice looking though, but a little dull due to its age. Built radial again with DT Swiss spokes. Runs true.
£20 collected again from Reading, or will post. -

Ive not seen that one before, even better than the DT one it seems!
Cheers.

This would be my belt driven steed of choice. Overall I think belt drives are a great idea, real innovation where most would not even considder that a change was needed.
I would fit one to my Rohloff equiped bike, but you need an opening into the rear triangle to fit the belt through, you cant break it like a chain.
Ive been using the F'ing Search for the last half hour!!! I read every thread with spokes in the title, prehaps you should take a chill pill dude.
