I'm trying to sell my e46 M3, it's not quite collector status (CS, CSL or whatever) but it is a decent-ish manual non-sunroof car. It's just been my track day car so cosmetically its a bit rough but mechanically it's great.
Got it on Pistonheads at the moment and going to see how that pans out, but anyone able to recommend a specialist dealer that might be interested in something like this?

That could still be some kind of sensor fault.
The stability control works by monitoring several parameters (wheel speed, brake pedal pressure, throttle position, steering angle etc.) and can apply the brakes to control the vehicle. So a faulty sensor can cause behavior similar to what you are reporting.

I would say that its likely a wheelspeed sensor issue (or something related like alignment) as they are used by both the DSC and the tyre pressure system. If the sensor is loose or damaged it could be being affected when the car is accelerating or going over bumps. On the e90 its also a reasonably common probem that the yaw sensor in the DSC fails which can cause the traction control light.
The lights are quite general and could mean a lot of things though. The garage should be able to pull the chassis codes and isolate the problem (FWIW you can download a tool called BMW scanner and read them using a laptop at home).

Only really a problem if you regularly fly non UK registered EASA aircraft.
Not sure I am confident in the CAA's general ability to keep on top of things post brexit though...
