Good lord, a man on the inside! I've had wo bikes nicked a Charge Plug Racer in 12/08 and a Fuji Track in 02/09 if anyone's bought a second hand Fuji Track I'll happilly re-imburse them, I have the frame number. Admittedly the locks I had were sh1te but I now use an Abus Discus, has anyone had a bike stolen with one of these?

Is the a list of locks out there and their subsequent ability to scupper crims?

I don't know why I'm looking, it's eating me up but this guy - http://www.gumtree.com/london/84/35266384.html - has listed this bike three times now coming down from £200 to £125 anyone missing it?

That is a good point dogs but this was in daylight and the traffic through that point is pretty heavy I'm pretty amazed.

My Charge Plug Racer in December had the lock cut and left round a lamp post and with my Fuji Track there was nothing left over whatsoever. I'm sure both were listed on Gumtree too so I've just been in touch with them about their Sellers privacy policy as this fella - http://www.gumtree.com/london/60/35127760.html - has listed five times with the same number (http://tinyurl.com/chv67j) but different names. In fact they just called back and are sending me all their info tomorrow. It's handy having and email address at a national newspaper!

Does anyone just fancy hanging around Brick Lane on a Sunday with me and just lynching people that have a track bike in one hand and a can of Special Brew in the other?

Hi guys, I'm back, another bike gone! Again from outside The Golden Hart! Yesterday 4-5pm. Two bikes in two months (My charge plug Racer was taken just before xmas) It was a Fuji Track 56cm with a Brookes saddle, I have the frame number this time. Any advice please, please plese?!

I still can't start threads... but my Fuji Track was also stolen yesterday 56cm with a brooks saddle. between 4-5pm opposite the Golden Hart outside Allsaints. This is really starting to piss me off only two months ago my Charge Plug Racer was stolen from the same place!!! I had the Fuji for 8 days, I'm destroyed!

Yes mine was stolen a couple of days before outside the Golden Hart! Nice spot ta, now how do I get that back? If anyone else viewed this can they confirm whether or not it had SPD's?

I've noticed that not only Evans but Fuji themselves are still showing the 2008 model. They are also still selling the 2008 model under the 2009 tag, I believe that this is because Fuji still have plenty in stock.

I had this out with Evans in Spitalfields after seeing the pics on this post, because I wanted them to beat Winstanley's price of £294 (http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/product/16384/Fuji_Track_2008) as the do a price beater option. At first it was with their head office over the phone and they swore that it was the 2009 version that they were selling. When I went into the store armed with the picture of the 2009 bike I also noticed that they failed to update the tag on the bike itself making the assitant very apologetic and foolish looking.

They only have 4 left in the size that I want and so they said, if I wanted it, to put down a £50 deposit and bring in a print out of the Winstanley's website with the price on, though what that would prove I have no idea seeing as you can seemlessly change the price using Firebug for Firefox anyway.
