New insulated zoa, is the cut off bike friendly?
Probably wouldn't get as much bike use I'd like to pretend it would.....could probably justify it if I could use it as a daily off bike jacket (with occasional bike duties)

I have one of these, I find it weirdly comfy as an extra hand position/finger rest too.

Has anyone ever successfully whittled down the bike collection to one swissarmy style allrounder bike and stuck with it?
I rarely take out the dedicated road bike anymore, the racks and guards commuter isn't too different from the offroad gravel bike. I'm considering one allrounder with maybe two wheelsets?

I think I was having a brain fart yesterday. I tightened the qr up this morning and it's holding it nice and snug now.
For some reason my brain was thinking that it should be spinning freely instead of staying put in one place.
I shall now slowly back away with an embarrassed look upon my face

Pretty sure it was ok, no noticeable disc rub or wobble.
Thinking about it, the steel fork has been in an accident with its previous owner, seems straight but could squiffy dropouts be the issue?

Bit of a weird issue with my sp pD-8 hub today...

I felt a bit of a vibration, thought that maybe something was stuck between the tyre and the front mu guard. when I pulled over to check it out I realised that my front light cable (that's insulation taped to my front rack) had started pulling itself free and wrapping around the hub axle.

On closer inspection, it seems as if the part of the hub that the wires connects to isn't spinning freely anymore, really notchy and enough resistance to pull the cable from it's tape. Notchy enough that I could feel it through the bars when riding.
The hub bearings themselves are spinning fine, the hub has covered less than a thousand miles since I had it.
Has anyone had a similar issue?

What was going on with Yates' handlebars today? At first I though the bar tape was coming loose in the drops, but then I noticed both sides match, is it some sort of electronic shifting wizardry that I do not understand?

The 40mm was a rough guide from him, I'm sure shallower would be ok considering he wants alloy brake surface.

Yeah, sorry carbon fairing.
Basically alloy brake surface for all weather braking is key.
He has carbon rim brakes on his TT bike and they are mildy terrifying in the wet

Preferably semi aero like a 40mm deep rim but I'm not sure if this is a deal-breaker.
In stock and available is a deal-breaker though as he's currently without a rear wheel.
