I have an ITM 1inch quill stem converter.
See here: http://www.londonfgss.com/thread14869.html
All you need is the 1" to 1 1/8 shim. Easy to get, most bike shops have them lying around in the workshop...

I created a collections of all Velodromes in the UK on Google Maps:
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=107581291947925336035.00044c012fbb22b42b4c1&t=h&z=6Includes details of what type of track, surface, facilities, etc (where the info is available) that are at each venue.
Calshot is a great track to ride on. Very similar to the Six Day tracks in Europe. They run a winter track league there on Sundays.
I have a pair of those cranks on my PX Pro Crabon Stealth. They are a little heavy at just over 900g but they are super stiff! Much stiffer than the Campagnolo Record Pista.
Even got an order in for a 2nd pair...
