Re brazing the cracked bb, I had a frame with cracked bb shell and found a frame builder who recommended brazing a ring round the outside of the shell, and flooding/re-tapping thread, all for £25. Said he done this several times in past with great success.
Thanks for that. I might end up having that done myself.

Please note that there are some faults with this frame and that is the top tube has a pretty bad ding in it (aprox 1.5cm) and the seat post and hadlebar stem may require a lot of effort to remove. I tried to remove them by hand but was unsuccessfull. They may be removed by using a vice and wd40, I haven't tried. Otherwise the frame is in relatively good shape and there is no evidence of any other frame damage. Just wanted to get that straight in the open before you read any further.
The headbadge is really beautiful and there is a transfer or decal that says Galibiere on it.
Frame size is 54cm center to center from bottom bracket lug to seat tube lug where top tube inserts.Top tube is 57 cm CTC
The frame number is 23099, there is a DC stamped on the bottom bracket shell too.
This bike would make a great restoration project and possible fixie.
