Family and friends will be erecting a ghost bike for Eilidh at Notting Hill on Sat 5th Sept at 11am.
This is to mark the spot of her tragic crash, and to warn all road users to take care, and action, to prevent this re-occuring.
We are very pleased to have Boris Johnson's reassurance that the ghost bike will not be removed.
Please come and spend a moment for Eilidh. We will be having a drink at the Mitre afterwards.

Hi,
As part of my work with the Hackney Bike Workshop I also volunteer at Pedal Power a cycling club for learning disabled people details at http://www.hackney-cyclists.org.uk/pedalpower.htm.
They have asked me to repair some of their bikes they have a Trike which needs assembling it is a never used kit with 27" wheels so needs a bit of work, a recumbant trike with transmision problems and a trailer trike like this one http://www.flickr.com/photos/funny_cyclist/3826880132/.
To be honest it is a bit to much work for me alone so I thought I would ask you guys if any of you could come over and give me a hand next Saturday morning to fix them. I live in Stoke Newington and living in a pub have big back yard or basement to fix them in depending on the weather.
I can offer lunch also my mate Lance the maker of the push me pull you bike in this picture with the Cowboy hat http://www.flickr.com/photos/funny_cyclist/3601261601/ will be over on his European Bike tour and it would be good for him to meet fell Bikies.
Next Saturday morning would be good because Pedal Power have a session in afternoon.

Hi Lynx,
Sorry for delay in replying the hackney Bike Workshop is an open workshop which runs for two hours twice a month. People bring and work on their own bikes which vary from dodgy old three speed roadsters and cheapo mountain bikes to top end Road bikes it depends who turn up on the night. Practically every session now days we get people straightening making wheels and there are always problems with brakes and gears. I have posted a few pictures of the workshop at http://www.flickr.com/photos/funny_cyclist/3497102329/ I've meant to take more but I never get enough time.
The idea is to teach people how to repair their bikes but this is always a balance with actually getting the work done in the time available.
We now have a good crowd of 6 regular volunteers with tow or three others who turn up irregularly.
I hope that is enough information for you.
