at the risk of breaking with tradition, last year we inadvertantly discovered that the pub over the road is open an hour later than the original one (although that may only be as a result of the bar staff skiving off early that night)..

You might want to try putting the battery in backwards for a sec, on the off chance it helps. Sounds ridiculous I know but there are a few google results saying 4iiii asked them to try this and it apparently working (not neccessarily this specific issue though)..

Yeah, amazingly it looks like the last Tuesday ride was in 2013! Then Norths chased it to Wednesday, followed by Arsenal’s CL antics chasing it to Thursday I think.

Realistically I’m unlikely to be able to make many either way, so I’m happy to go with the flow..

Interestingly I think almost everywhere seemed to be offering them for £50 off RRP for the last couple of months (and my wife got the small music verison for £270 before Xmas) but the prices have actually gone back up to RRP since the 265 launch. Sigma seem to be the exception as they have the black large music verison still at £300

FWIW the 265 and 965 Forerunners are due to launch this week so you might want to hold fire for potential discounts on the older ones. These new ones will be AMOLED so will be a significant price hike..

I think my body is fortunately quite forgiving of this sort of thing, but I'm operating on a major slant and just cut up an old yoga mat into credit card sized pieces and put a couple under one foot and several under another.. felt a bit weird at first but now it just seems like I have the world's cheapest rocker plate!

What's the option for reducing the overall height (top of Garmin to bottom of light) as far as possible?

Sorry I'm way late to this, but I just put a standard Garmin mount on the top of the Sirius which feels pretty snug. I think all the included Garmin out front mounts have the reverse connecter on the bottom these days which allows this..? I dunno, maybe fancier mounts are slimmer but I've never felt the need to find out - and the super-quick removal/replace is an added bonus. I have even mounted Hope Visions and Tracers like this..*

*deviants who like their Garmins pointed skywards may be less pleased with this (but you can just Gorilla tape the back of the light to get some tilt)

I'm not sure anyone warrants an award this year, except maybe @cagimaha and @rhowe for valiant attempts to keep this thing going, but we'll definitely wheel out a tiny trophy for you if you make it!
