I'm looking at that as a possible fork for mine. I think the only downside it it will look BEEFCAKE against the pomp's relatively thin tubing.

I prefer the straight legs over curved ones (but don't really feel like paying £200+ for Easton forks or the like) I haven't been able to find any pictures of a Pompino built with PureCX forks though - which lead to my concern regarding compatibility issues...

Any reason why a Kinesis PureCX fork wouldn't fit a Pompino frame?

Probably wrong on this. I don't like egg beaters in general but I understand the point; i.e clipping in at any direction. Surely these negate that purpose.

Agree to some extent. Love the egg beaters on my mtb, hate the candy-pedals on my SS-commuter. Wanted to be able to use the same cleats/shoes but I just don't really get on with the semi-platform design, feels like it interferes with the thread on the sole. Should have just bought a second pair of egg beaters :-(

It would enable you to tweak the cog position to match the single chain ring too
