I saw a couple of blokes looking rather pleased with themselves fiddling about with a smaller (too small for them) Single Speed bike. I didn't see the frame make, but it had double lime green rims and a black frame and risers.
it was on New North road, at the corner with elizabeth ave. PM me for more details...

Jenni from LBK had her Blue Greg Lemond road bike stolen outside London Bike Kitchen about 2 weeks ago. If you see a Lemond bike take a pic and let me know when and where. Action time.
I dont know about the rest of your post - but there is a smallish lemond fillmore chained up about halfway down graham road sometimes. I think it has red bar tape but im not 100%....

I sous vide'd my first steaks last night. Used a saucepan wrapped in a couple of towels for insulation, and was amazed at how little the temp dropped - checked back in every 10 minutes or so and was never more than 2/3 degrees below the required 130. Cooked 2 onglet (hanger) steaks, one big rump and a skirt steak. Just cooked them in freezer bags with air displaced by dipping them in water up to the seal and then closing. Seasoned and added some thyme and garlic to the bag. Left in the water for over an hour, with a very quick sear on blisteringly hot griddle at the end. Absolutely insane - the steaks were cooked to perfection, rosy pink in the middle, got a nice crust on the edge. Didn't 'leak' any juices when sliced, and definitely more intensely beefy. The 'cheaper' steaks were particularly revelatory, just as soft and juicy but the flavours were incredible. Will definitely be doing this again...
How was the Skirt steak? I fucking love skrit but its certainly tricky to get absolutely tender.

Hi,
I've been riding my bike with this on for a few months now and my butt hates it. The saddle is in good condition but there are two things to make you aware of.
First, I stupidly wore jeans riding this a couple of times so there is a faint blue tinge to the saddle.
Second - one of the staples / tacks holding the leather against the back has come loose. It just needs gluing.
Other than that its in fine nick, no scratches / wear of leather / grazes on it at all.
Pictures of mine to come, but for now - this gives you an idea...

It's probably been posted before, many times...
Unfortunately, the one time I did apprehend a bike thief it wasnt that exciting. He was a drunk old dude fiddling with a lock, so we confronted him, took his bag of tools and told him to fuck off before the cops came. He kept calling us 'friendu friendu' - I ran to my house, got my spare lock and tethered the bike (this was on my block) with a note.
Three or four days later (the bike hadn't been touched prior to this) I see my lock cut in half and on the floor (it was an Abus Granit - beware!) because the fucking barber shop on the corner decided, without any warning, that it didnt want any bikes on the railings at the side of it. Who knows where the bike is now.

RIP Cyclist.
I'm honestly not sure about it being a terrible junction though, busy, definitely - but if you follow the lights, while busy, its definitely not as sketchy as say, Kings Cross etc.
The debate on that junction is long - see - http://www.lfgss.com/thread8406-9.html
