PCSO (or maybe a regular Police) telling people off this morning for going in the bus lane, scare tactics - telling them lots of people had been injured along that road. Neglecting to mention someone died at the Holborn Junction 6 weeks ago. Way to go, pal.

i called out a twat who had only a minute earlier undertaken me on Jamaica road. Note: He had already undertaken me minutes earlier so he was already on my "watch out retard ahead" radar.

So he's in the bus lane riding primary, fine, good for him. I'm riding faster so I move to overtake on his right. As I am passing him, he starts to veer into me without looking over his shoulder or any prior indication. He comes perilously close to bumping into me so I turned to him and say:

Me: Do you mind?
Him: stupid look on his face What?
Me: You're steering right into me
Him: Because I'm turning right!
Me: I'm in the middle of overtaking you
Him: You shouldn't be overtaking me, I'm turning right at those lights over there
Me: Did you ever just maybe consider checking over your shoulder or indicating that you wish to turn right?
Him: You should have passed me on my left!
Me: Thats called undertaking, you shouldn't be doing that.
Him: You don't know anything.
Me: You're the reason my mum once told me to assume the world is full of fucking retards
Him: Fuck off you cock! You should learn the rules of the road before you cycle on them!
Me: Piss off you fucking twat!!! ROOOAAARRRR

So I lost my temper a little bit at the end.

This situation is solved simply by shouting 'STRAIGHT LINES DICKHEAD' from behind.

Anyone out there had an experience of riding with both of these saddles? How do they compare?

My Arione recently fell to pieces, so am looking for a new saddle and was wondering if the the Zoncolan was a good comparative saddle, before forking out the cash - they both look pretty long and very tapered - which is what my butt prefers.

I passed them on Euston road! About 20 riders in the bus lane, creeping along behind a coach. When the coach slowed down the lead rider put his fist in the air like he was in CounterStrike and they all stumbled and slipped to a halt.

I mean, I'm sure there are some great cyclists that do Triathlons, I'm just yet to see any.

Watching them deal with the shitty road surface and shitty drivers on Bayswater road for the past two mornings has been pretty brilliant - Tri bikes not so good for dodging Addison Lee's and potholes...

1. Burger meat was obviously a great aged blend, but not fatty and juicy enough. It was maybe a little underseasoned and there was no crust on the patty. Flavour good though. Shake Shack has a discernable Crust from the flat top and its messy and delicious - also lovely and salty.

2. Bun - I think it was a kind of Brioche? I'm not sure. Either way it was dry and there was too much of it. The Martin's potato roll they use at the 'shack, for me, is the perfect burger bun - it's soft and gooey and soaks up all the juice from the burger without falling apart.

3. Cheese - some kind of Cheddar at DB. For me the only cheese on a burger should be American. It just works better. It flows into the patty and melts like a sauce. The cheddar or whatever it is was tasty but doesnt have a place on a classic burger, for me.

4. Vegetables - I liked the shredded lettuce and the way it mixed with the sauce. The fact they use iceburg is great, the pickle, however, sucked. it was flaccid, didn't have much flavour and tasted more like a cucumber slice. Needed to be fresher and sharper (believe, me I love pickles, this isn't down to a dislike of pickles). Tomato was nothingy - admittedly Shake Shack isn't much better. But they don't have shitty pickles on their burger.

5. Sauce - actually DB is quite similar to SS and I like both equally... HOWEVER, frying the patty in American yellow mustard put me off. I wouldn't put mustard on my burger, though... Save that shit for a Hebrew National. I get that it's a homage to In-N-Out, but whatever, its not for me!

Anyway, it's a personal opinion, but I've eaten many a burger in my time... And I just thought it was ok.

Had a Dirty Burger on Saturday night... I definitely think Shake Shack is better.

I think the reason that it seems to take longer is that I used to make coffee in a pyrex jug with tea strainer. You could pour the water and leave unattended to get on with something else whereby you need to be in attendance to trickle pour the water with a v60. Not a problem really, just an observation.

What grammage and grind are you using? I love pourover. nom nom.
