After a day of no rain whatsoever, I was really looking forward to a ride!
I went into my flat to get my bike and all was grand until in that 2 minute gap between leaving home and reaching Fifty Fifty it started raining and didnt stop.
And that put an end to that, we ended up doing a bit o maintenance on the beasts and talking about bikes, as opposed to riding them.
I second that AdotK, roll on summer!

Does 45 ride fixed? I don't know him personally, but i'm a fan of his relentless assault on our streets! Some nice stuff hanging in friend and co. I'm hyped about the event - haven't been to cube in a while, what is the bike locking situation?
He doesnt, no, he's organizing the event with a friend of his who rides and is mad into it - so hes handing the bike side and 45's handling the artside (although I can imagine after the night hell be riding in no time!)
Really looking forward to it! I dont know what to do about locking up bikes though... I only live just up the road so I dont have to ride down, but it'd be nice to - I can imagine itd make for some good photos to have all the bikes stacked there!

Hey everyone, my first post here!
Ive not been riding fixed too long, about 6 months now and I must admit from an aesthetic point of view, the whole no brakes thing does look appealing, as the bike looks so clean.
But, when ive been toying with the idea, and psyching myself upto give it a whirl, I came off my bike last week on a spot of black ice and fucked my brand new shiney Macbook pro!
I wouldnt have minded too much, but that new MBP was paid for by insurance for coming off my bike in the pouring rain on the slippey tiles down where the hippodrome is, where I wrote off my old MBP.
So, i think the lesson Ive learnt is I seem to be a liability to myself WITH a brake, so without it I think id be a gonner!
It still is well tempting though!
Anyways, good to be here Bristol folk!
Nice one! good to see more Bristol-based stuff, sweet!
