Any car insurance experts here .
No fault accident , where my insurance dealing with it , and now saying they will refuse to fix car( claiming there was pre- existing repair in same area ), and instead offering a settlement and telling em to get it fixed . Does not sound right and not sure what to do - 1. insist they fix it? / 2. ask for more money to cover unseen eventualities and my time ? /3. get in contact with the insurance company of car who did the damage ? / 4. complain somewhere ??

Interested in groupset if comes to splitting :)

Reminds me of our friends who came back one day to find the entire ceiling collapsed in the lounge after washing machine above had been pumping water all day .
They could actually see up to the flat above .

New Beckenham is my local station, and you could kind of see how someone would have thought that road just keeps on going, as bit of a weird lay out . Driver must have had a shock..

Anybody want a broken one of these . Was quoted £100 to fix but in truth do not need all the fancy ness. Original issue was would not boot up , something about a power supply issue and then the cd stopped working . Free to collect in se20 , or better still swap for an old cd player as having one of those would be handy.

This is painful to see this go but.
Eames chair is a repro and was lovely , but needs some tlc . The back was damaged in the move and they bought us a new one , which I think is slight different size and will need probably a new hole drilled to fit . The arms will need to be reattached also . £50 as they seem to be a fortune new now.

We walked away from a place after survey turned up a bad roof, although nothing as bad as yours . We asked for big discount and no dice . All worked out for best in the end . As a first time buyer you are in a strong position, so keep your nerve, be prepared to walk away ( an earlier house we were outbid on and my partner was convinced we would not find better, but we did and a lot better ) . Good luck .

That hot rod is lovely . I borrowed one to ride London to Brighton years ago. Actually rode really one . Took two of us to ride it up ditching , but it went down quick enough :)

Anybody know what these are . Came across them . At first thought they were earphones as they are exact right size , but no opening for sound and they have double sided sticky on them .
