Mine was an early 90's Merlin and I worked it out to need 35mm, but used a 33.5mm and it's all good.

Perhaps get in touch with whoever you are getting it from and ask them to measure? There's nothing worse than getting half way through a build and finding one of the parts isn't right.

bought these a while ago but never got round to fitting them and have recently sold the wheels they were intended for.......two brand new 630/25c Stela white wall tyres, ideal if you have narrow section 27" rims........asking £20 collected or happy to post at cost

bought in error a while ago as I didn't realise they came with recessed allen key bolt fittings I have a pair of brand new (still boxed) alloy Shimano BR-R650 dual pivot brake calipers ideal for those of you with frames needing a deep drop up to 57mm to allow 700c wheels, complete with shoes and pads and ready to hook up to your levers....these retail at over £70 a pair online but would let go for £50 posted or £45 collected SE London

It's not NOS but near to: the bike has hardly been used, stored for years. I even doubt if the bike has been outside ever.
The bike has a full Campagnolo Victory groupset, rims Mavic.

not meaning to pour cold water on this lovely road bike (and the upside is that the groupset is not the cheaper Victory but looks like the later and better machined Croce d'Aune) but the spurious claims that the bike has doubtfully ever been ridden outside begs the question of the noticable heel rub on the cranks?
