I can help here. I sold that Knight frame to the gent about a year ago. He was a top fella and a well seasoned racing cyclist. I got it from an old boy who'd had it since the 70's. I had it in it's original paint job and decals. I think I even got the details of the builder in the end - something about him now building wheels but not frames. It was a fairly sick orange and I had it resprayed by Vaz. These may look weird but they are the original drop outs. I'll put my name to that.

Is anyone interested in this? I have had it knocking about for a while now and never built it up. I got it from a woman who was selling her ex husbands bikes – this and a very nice Greg Lemond. It’s a 57 seat (ctt) and 57 top (ctc). Drop outs 120 / 100. Frame number 7356 / 64. Shimano BB and Tange Levin Headset both in good order.
The chrome on the forks and rear stays is in very good condition but there is some surface rust on the lugs. It’s had some kind of home restoration and look like someone masked the original transfers when repainting. I just tried to call BJ to get a date but they’re shut on Wednesday’s so await a reply to my email. £150ish ???

I like it. It's 753 and has been taking me to work and back for over 2 years. Never managed to find out much about Billy other than from Barrie who had heard of him. A drunk bloke outside the Wheatsheaf in Borough Market told me that Billy used to have a stall on a market in the Wirral. That's all I know. Nice heart shaped cut out lugs - but like a De rosa type of thing.

OK. The best way to do this is to compare inside leg measurement with the standover height. If you stand with your legs a little apart and measure from the floor to your crotch that's your inside leg. Imagine standing astride the bike with the top tube being 78 cms from the floor. Ideally your nuts are resting on the frame but not your pubic bone. Doesn't make for a nice picture but thats how it's done. Alternatively just come round and give the bike a try. How tall are you?

I've not sold anything on here before so bear with me - any advice appreciated. I only have this photo at the mo as there's never enough daylight. Hopefully someone wants it. Viewing and testrides welcome. I'm in Hackney.
A small Fred James 531 Track frame. Paintwork is virtually immaculate having been renovated by James cycles of Alford Lincs by the previous owner. This fella had 40 bikes and kept them all in really good condition, I think he would regularly go to the garage just to "oil the chains". He used to ride them all but looking at the parts it's in very good condition. The Fred James decals are stickers that can be removed by the look of them.
Measurements: Seat tube 51.5 ctt, top tube 53ctc, Stand over height is about 78cms.
Bits: Miche 170mm crank, Miche BB, Miche Seat post, Normandy hubs on Rigida rims (rear is a flip flop fixed/free currently on fixed 20t I think), Michelin pro race tyres, Look pedals, Concor light saddle, Cinelli stem, Stronglight headset, campag front brake and campag lever.I have just noticed that the cones on the wheels could be tighened a bit but otherwise the bikes seems sound.
I'm looking to get £360 for it.

My mate snapped his key in his lock once, went to HSS hire and got an angle grinder. He's a teacher type so went to the nearest cop shop to tell em what he was up to. I think they must have thought he was nuts. The sensible fucker got arrested not so long ago for being drunk in charge of a pram though. He told the copper he had beautiful eyes and that was it .

Has anyone built or ridden one? I've been keen to try one of these beasts out for ages.
