This weeks Hackney Gazette has a good article on the roots of Cycle Speedway in Hackney. Some good pics too. Page 8&9. I don't ever buy it but it but the picture on the front caught my eye. No brakes and lots argie bargie which is different to onion bhaji. I heard that Hackney CC held some grass track racing last summer. Not sure whether it will happen this year or not.

Was going to list this on Ebay tonight / tomorrow but if anyone wants to make me an offer I'll be happy to sell for cash. Looking to get about £240 I know it's a fair bit but it cost me a bit too. Make me an offer.
51cm seat (ctt) 51.5 top (ctc) 120 /100 mm dropouts. Standover Height about 78/79 cms.
Odyssey Headset in good order, Campag BB needs attention as it's loose and possibly shagged.
The bike looks great and is a really beautifull blue colour (must get a new camera) but there are quite a few places where chips have been touched up with darker blue paint (see pic), mostly in the chain area on the underside of the stays. There is also a dent (thumb sized) to the underside of the top tube. It has very close clearances.

Moving house this weekend and want to lighten the load. I have a rust bucket of a king of Mercia frame and forks with Chaterlea chainset. There's a dent in the top tube and lots of rust but it's possible that it could be blasted, re-painted and restored. I'm never going to get round to it. 1st person who says they can collect from Hackney tonight or tomorrow night can have it. Looks like it's about a 57.
Lots of spares for sale too. Wheels cranks etc etc But I'm not going to start listing this stuff. PM if you want to come and have a look.
