I waited 4-5 weeks, and finally got it about 2 weeks ago.
They are having a shop refit in Condor and on their website says they'll be closed for a couple of weeks but I don't know when exactly. Haven't been there in recent days but they might have already finished the refurbishment and apparently they were supposed to have shorter waiting lists once that's done so it's best to check with them currently.
As I said 2 weeks gone as I have my lavoro (pretty sure they had a couple of 52s and 55s last years frames with aero seattube in rapha condor colors) and Its great so far being used on the road but I cannot really compare since thats my first fixed. That frame looks like on picture below, or see my gallery

aaaahaa.. I see.. thanks a lot for that.. gonna defo try that tommorow. hope it's gonna work, I actually keep my bum on the saddle when doing that so its problably just a matter of leaning more backwards.
Heh. And I was already getting concerned that there is something wrong with my headset.. while it's just my head :D
So your bikes do the same when you lift them up they 'turn their head around'? ..like a common bike thing, similar to cats - when you pet them they start to purr and rise their tail :)

What about no-hands trackstanding?
I got my fixed eventually and trackstanding is going all good but i find it scary to do it hands free. I mean, I've tried it and managed to do it but the problem I have is that my wheel tends to turn around in my bike, is that something i can correct?
Even when I carry my bike by the frame, the front wheel always tends to turn around to either of sides until the drop on the bars hit the top tube.. -
I had one of those winter/ice tires - home made back in Poland :) I've just put 4mm flat head bolts from the inside every second side knob, then screwed the nut from the outside and cut them down with angle grinder to bind the nut and bolt together so it doesn't unscrew and to make it rough and sharp.
When used on the front wheel, it gives you nice grip on solid ice so you can literally do circles spinning your rear wheel on your bike - great fun! but its easy to get lungs inflammation from -20 Centigrade :D
When used on the rear wheel you can for example plough your back yard when breaking on grass :D -
I guess you could do it on ice...
you can skid the front tire on wet surface.. (to a certain point recoverable ) or dry covered with some gravel..
Anyway. Verbs & Nouns I kinda get what you are trying to communicate to me but... its not my bike, I just wanted to find out who's bike is that and who is using nickname "Hudstaar" on velospace
:D -

sorry, I meant owns - I guess I've spent too long in front of a computer trying to finish my essay for tomorrow... today.. for in few hours :)
dunno about the saddle.. maybe just likes slides

one time was rolling slowly on my bike between people down the Bow Lane, a small shopping pedestriants-only alley just off Cheapside, during a busy lunch time only because I thought that Ill take less space on the bike than if I walk and push my bike on my side and suddenly one gentlemen, who was walking from in front, pulled out a police badge from behind his suite jacket and said to me calmly "don't cycle on the pavement"... so I just dismounted kindly and walked on
he took me by suprise in other words..
The other time I was cycling down the Bishopsgate throught the junction with Liverpool Rd and I was pretty much sure I had green, then suddenly one copper who was waiting at the crossing started walking onto the road trying to cut me of, pointing the finger at me and shouting something.. something that I couldnt hear cos I had my headphones on.. so I started slowing down, and suddenly he just walked back to the pavement without saying anything.. seeing what I assumed he mistaken something and realized that i PROBABLY had green and I drove off with fast heartbeat... mysterious to me cos I didnt know what was he on about... hmm -

erm, he's on about gear 53 front 13 rear.
timewise that would be pretty slow.
11 miles 35/40 minswell... ye, if you keep average of 30kmph then you can do that in 30-35min, BUT add to that the traffic and the fact that i used to cycle in rush hours and i dont really go through red lights (carefully looking left and right if no police around) ...well maybe some times, ocassionaly :D
-
I do this. I rode 11 miles yesterday in 53:13. Came home with well wobbly legs.
not bad not bad :)
before Ive moved to Stokey I used to commute from enfield to the city, roughly same distance one way :) i think i used to have similar times in the winter, in the summer a bit better :) but.. that was tiring indeed everyday... -
pffft I sleep trackstanding
everytime I cycle to work or back I've got a mission not to unclip till I get there. it works most of the time.
clip in + coat
what dimi3 said/
the desire not to unclip is what keeps me upright at lights.
Right :) sometimes if feel like its disgraceful or shameful to unclip ;) - sick
Same with gears, when i ride my geared bike (well, the only one i have at the moment :D) i feel like cheating if i change the gears, so i dont, no point anyway :) -
Its quite easy once you get it:) but it take a kind of breakthrough. Doing it on a slight uphill helps on the freewheel bike but for fix just on flat, natural habit is to pedal the bike forward if you lean to the same side as your wheel but when you go the other direction you normally tend to turn your wheel the other way and pedal forward, the trick is to stop that habit, a bit of courage and pedal back gently, thats it once you get it it easy.
On freewheel bike its similar, slight uphill for the start, keep practicing on your way to everywhere and you will find out that irregularity of the road and sometimes the end of slope on the road disallows you to go back, grab your front brake quick, push your hands forward to give back motion to your body and let the brakes go and there you go backwards again, at least usually enough to get the balance. The key is to calm down. dont try to ride one meter back and forth, just try to be near motion less.
That way you can do a track stand on freewheel on flat as well.
Usually i dont unclip at any time on my freewheel when going to work and that.
Iam not convinced to the rule where you have to turn your front wheel to the same side as your front foot. Its just what you get used to, with clipless you can track stand with your crank arms almost vertically as well as long as you keep a calm balance and the road is flat.
Learning to do it with your feet in any position and turning your wheel to any direction helps as you can trackstand in any situation then.

ok... i give up then. You are both right. Honors to Tytan
I mean I am not even english, just based it on google :)
funnily enough that's wikipedia which got me confused.. check this:

right, and that's where I was ordering my bike from - while they were in temp shop next door. But on their website it says that they'll shut down completely for a couple of weeks some time during refit - just dont know if that already happened or will happen.
They also say on their website that during the refurbishment (...) there is likely to be some disruption to the top class service they wish to provide (...) probably that's white they have fitted my lavoro bike with bb size that the gives chainline discrepancy of 3-4mm and the frame being aluminium light-built it makes bell-ring-like sound when I pedal.. hmm
They also forgot to tighten my lockring on the sprocket so few days down the line from getting my bike I was stopped from skidding by loosened lockring until I got to blb where they kindly tightened it up for me
