already in current projects, but here's my girlfriends bike. awaiting mudguards, new chain, new pedals and a nice saddle. but for €50 so far i'm doing well (including the basket and the brake yoke on the back which is pretty handy for stopping outside the shops). it has a back pedal brake too which is pretty cool, i had never used one before.

it's ok according to that thread. but if it was my own bike i'd be nervous about it alrite. maybe try a slightly less powerful stripper. or don't be a bitch like me and just do it ;)

As for Irish Mick: having two mechanical brakes, or one mechanical brake, does not mean you can't stop or slow down with your legs.
i just think it's stupid to put a fancy, expensive brake on a bike that's less practical then a normal brake. my point was that if the chain broke you would not be able to slow down with your legs or the mechanical brake, and that seems stupid to me.
EDIT: i don't really care about care about the whole brakeless thing, i just think if you have a brake it makes sense for them to be independent.
