There's two configurations for that price

does anyone know if those crud roadracers (or even the 18-23 raceblades) are ok to use with 28c vittoria randonneurs? I know that's probably a stupid question but the really are quite small for 28's and i don't have much/any clearance for proper mudguards.

could i use 25.8mm bars in a 26mm stem? I know its not ideal, but there are some nice 3ttt ergos in the planet x sale, only in 25.8. My stem's 3ttt which makes me think it might be ok, also 0.2mm isn't even postcard width right so can it make a huge diff?

true and it's none of my business how you put together your bike anyway, so as you were. looks like a nice bike too btw.

the point isn't that you can get a better frame for less than £100, it's that you could get one quite easily for less than the price of a pair of ellipses.
