I ride with a black bag and it's a problem, albeit a minor problem. I dont really turn my shoulder, just my neck. And you're right - if you do turn with your shoulder, it isnt a problem, but I tend to veer when I do that and I like to keep my hands on the bars. I've considered taking the bag to a seamstress and having two or three inches taken off the corner and then sewed back together, but havent gotten around to it. I suppose it could be a fit problem, though. Maybe someone larger wouldnt have this problem.

thanks.
yes, the colors are found here: http://www.bobjacksoncycles.co.uk/colours.php
I am looking for the closest paint to a Molteni orange. for example: http://i41.tinypic.com/v66g5c.jpg
I emailed Bob Jackson and they responded with that they think the orange enamel or the metallic Arancio would work. Those colors just seem a bit too reddish.
I am also considering a silver-blue color. example: http://i-vol.com/bikes/raleigh_professional.htm
They said the best color for that would be the Blue "S" - do you guys think that looks close?
hmmm...
(pretty excited to finally order a Bob Jackson)

If you like this you'll like the Kazane frames TokyoFixedGear have. Very similar, but with seriously lush paint. I think they go for £300ish sheets, which sound like a lot but it's not compared with say... the budget deffecet. ;-)
I've read about the kazane frames. they are indeed nice. however, I want to build up a frameset with a few vintage italian components that I have (cinelli milano, campy aero seatpost, etc). and a keirin bike, I think, would be better served with DA and Nitto components. I would love to have a vintage italian frameset, but that is out of my budget and I have yet to find anything that isnt rusted or beat to hell. I prefer new with this build. I want a basic lugged steel track frame with tight geometry that I can paint myself. I like the Bob Jackson Vigorelli, but that is out of my price range as well as the Leader HMT 2009 frameset.
The only thing I do not like about the Alien is the bb webbing and the basic 4130 - I'd rather have reynolds 631 or so. But both of these are not a deal breaker by any means. 4130 is just fine.
I am seriously considering an Alien unless I find something else.
