I pay upfront (as already mentioned) and ask people to pay cash when I meet them. Paypaling money around would needlessly eat into the forum profit.
Sorry I misunderstood then, I'm not a Londoner so I'll have to take myself off the list:ehren_fried_chicken: 5 short valve

most ive hit on fixed is flat 30mph and 35mph downhill but ive done 59mph on my road bike but this was all when i was riding every day and not spending more time on my bmx than anything else
??I find 71 GI about right for cycling pretty much everywhere. I think I average about 17-18 mph on the flat when riding at a comfortable cadence. Though this is a SS not a Fixed.
More like 20 mph. :) -

Recently I bought some hand built Mavic CXP33's from Parker International, when they finally arrived 5 days late this Saturday, it turned out they were on black rims not silver... they haven't responded to my email as yet.
Now today I received my track wheels from Planet-X, they managed to send me two front wheels... Unlike Parkers they got back to me with their apologies within 30 minutes. :)
I know who I'll be ordering from next time.
To fill out my 3 most recent items received in the post, today I also received a "new and sealed" gillette razor blade off ebay that came complete with dried facial hair and limescale. YAY!
Should be getting a bottom bracket tomorrow, maybe it'll be a square taper/octalink hybrid model?
Anyway, back to the original post, here's what you do:
- Be nice, explain problem see if they will help
- If #1 fails, be annoyed, tell them it's not good enough
- If #2 fails, tell them you'll be doing a chargeback on your card
- If #3 fails, do a chargeback on your card... :)
Have never had to go to stage 4 yet.

Yeah what Pifko said.
So what's the deal was it today, or are we still good to come along tomorrow (Tuesday) evening? Not sure if I'll be brave enough to have a go, just come and cheer!
Anyone up for a ride this week then? The weather isn't as nice as last week but still mainly dry...
It's supposed to be raining wednesday evening onwards. :( Are the bikes fixed or freewheel? -
I managed 22mph into that headwind on the flat to the ferry, that was fecking hard work as well.
Heh yeah that was pretty mental, it was fairly hard just drafting you.Managed 43.3 mph down a steep ass hill today. Was wearing a t-shirt which was flapping around a lot, I reckon i would have hit 45 easily if I was in a jersey. Some silly bitch pulled out in front of me when I was doing about 38 on the second steep bit so I couldn't give it another go. :(
My top speed on a flat sprint is about 35 mph, almost dead afterwards if I push that hard though. Normal bike not TT btw.
Did same route again today, in my jersey (but no lycra shorts). Fucking 44.9 mph (72.6 kph), so close. If I hadn't done 75 miles in the preceding 24 hours I would have got it... -

LOL I've been scouring ebay for about 5 hours, if I had spotted them before bmx_fred posted I probably would have nabbed em.Got Stronglight ST-1000 165mm cranks fitted with 3/32 Zicral 44t 130BCD. Almost unused, and would probably fit your budget.
Cheers but I think I'm sorted. What's wrong with 135BCD? It's the **Campag **standard, just like 130BCD is the road standard, etc
This is how much I like campag:

167.5 but suits other criteria.

135BCD not 130 or 144... Also a bit expensive for my budget, looking for £45-55, bottom end sugino etc w/cosmetic damage. -

Hi guys, cheers. Has to be shallow round drop (~13.5cm) and has to be posted to me (Bournemouth). I already have a deep drop (~14.5cm) cinelli bars which are no good.
