winter evolution of my pompino.
much discussion with people who have been riding here for years had lead me to decide against costly spiked tyres. "on the 4 days a year you might need them, just take the subway".
added. more brakes, conti cross tyres, a freewheel - not sure how fixed in snow and ice would go.also by coincidence made the bike perfect for some off road adventures...

Like I said, bloody nice bike.
A black pair of cxp33s laced 32 3x (still overbuilt TBH) would have saved you 100s of grams of rotational weight, and (unless you do a lot of trials style fixie riding) would be equally bombproof.
Thats^ just porn thread nit picking though. In reality I'm just jello.
still got a terrible bar/brakes set up though. hoods + track bars. 'orrible.

Then do the Iditarod Trail as well.
(yes it's not in Canada, but still).
you realize that if your travel north to south on the iditarod you finish in Anchorage, a distance of over 3000km from banff. hardly a continuous extension of the divide...

http://www.alphawheels.co.uk/Welcome.html
https://www.facebook.com/AlphaWheelsyou will get a better deal, lighter, stronger through buying hand built. compare prices with others. tom is a friend of mine, but i can vouch for them, i have a set of cx wheels from him, very strong and light indeed. he builds very good wheels.
is there any reason that the above bike hasn't been returned for a refund? that is a joke. ripped off.
