You know the one...a blue ribble bike with full fixed mud guards.
Campagnolo Mirage Groupset (compact) 10speed.
Campagnolo khamsin wheels (in a very attractive shade of gold).im not going to lie to you i have ridden many many miles on this bike (it is priced accordingly), but i have always kept it in very good condition - the frame is in great nick.
it is a top "do everything" bike, i have toured on it, ridden it to work every day, and trained on it.it has a set of full SKS mudguards (black), conti GP 4 season tyres with quite a bit of life left, newish bar tape, new cassette 12 - 26, and new chain (500 miles on each).
NO PEDALS. stem will not be the 3t one pictured, a deda one will be in its place.
cant think of owt else...any questions??
this bike but with two gold wheels.
£200
Manchester. Pick up only unless we can arrange meeting - im in the peak quite a bit for instance. -
I see a few inconsistencies appearing in your story here Ed. :]
How can you be giving expert, trustworthy advice on touring bikes, and touring setups and positioning when you've been doing distances less than you've implied, and mostly on a colnago road bike...except for your recent Moulton trips to Richmond park? :]
Eddie....C'mon...It's ok to tell the truth!
I know you have every intention of eventually doing some proper touring, with a properly set up touring bike, but up until now you haven't actually been quite the Christopher Columbus you've led these good people to believe have you? :]I'm only winding you up here ed, but honestly, you haven't really been doing much 1OO-125 mile a day weekend touring have you? On ANY bike? :]
im always thinking this...seems to be an expert on everything, yet no photos or anything to back up claims!!

Tarp tent.
Another vote for them. Amazing. Harry will split the package into two halves for you to avoid the import tax.
better in my opinion than the hilleberg etc...http://www.flickr.com/photos/47853324@N08/5679637462/in/photostream

again, i think that here will be the best place for this...
Karrimor rear panniers for sale!!
Never used from what i can tell...waterproof fabric.
near perfect condition (the part that "sinches" shut with the draw cord has had its waterproof delaminate through age - not important as lid is water resistant and... all your stuff would be in dry bags, right??) look at picture.
£40

I have a big ugly dent in the top tube of my cross bike (crash damage from the last race of the season!) - its a PX uncle john.
The frame is fine to ride, but...i want to fill it and stick a sticker over where the dent was/is.
Going to get a black/white union flag sticker as off to race in Canada next season. What filler should i use? where can i get it?
Cheers, Chris.

What are people opinions on Bar Bags, whats the best? Carridice? Ideally including a map sleeve
i figure this is the best place for this...does anyone want to buy an ORTLIEB Ultimate 5 Classic 7 litre Bar Bag?
all black.
all fixing bits and bobs and the strap.you can get a snap on map case for it.
Used on one 3 day tour, good as new, but i have turned my back on bar bags!!!
cheapest i can find £52
yours for £40.
why take a lock? ive been on 3 quite long tours in this country and not taken a lock. no problems. i dont think people are after riding off on a loaded bike?? how often are you separated from your bike?
maybe its the type of touring i do...i certainly try and avoid areas of habitation...
