.....just testing the water to see if there is any interest in this bike that is now surplus to requirements. I was sold this frame as a Ken Bird about ten years ago and built it up with spare period parts I had in my workshop as a reliable commute/club run/winter bike. I recently acquired another bike so this is taking up space.
Featuring:
58cm frame with 531 tubing and Campag dropouts
Mavic Open 4 cd's laced to Mavic 500 hubs, (guards incl.)
Miche Chainset 52/42 with new chain and 6 speed block
Campagnolo Triomphe gears
Dia Compe brakes
GB Bars and Stem (100mm)
Selle Royal CX saddle mounted on a 27.2 unbranded micro clamp post
All in good reliable running order and ready to use (I've sold and bought on LFGSS before with a good track record)
Look Delta pedals if needed...if not I'm happy to keep 'emI live in County Down so postage most likely will be needed but if you're close enough then happy for you to view
Does £150.00 sound ok (plus post)
Cheers

When I tried an old pair of 650 triathlon wheels the bike just looked really odd with the aesthetic perspective, plus the brakes would have had to have a bracket made of sorts to lower them....the bike clears (just!) on a 700/20c tyre but it fouls against the seat tube when road shite gets thrown up in inclement weather

Bought this as a frame unfortunately to find it is too big by about an inch once built up.....Forme Zenith Team Carbon frame (their top of the line when available) measuring seat tube 60cms c/top and top tube 58cms c/centre, the frame is in very good condition with a few minor chips and scuffs but overall quite presentable.
I built it up with Campagnolo components namely Centaur carbon chainset with new bottom bracket/10 speed carbon shifters and derailleurs coupled with Centaur brakes and Zonda wheels, handlebars are Cinelli and saddle is a Fizik Arione R5 K'ium.
Only bad point is the front hub axle is missing a dust cover (doesn't affect riding) but Chickencyclekit on eBay have them if needed, also I'm not local living in County Down but happy to post if collection is needed
I'm putting feelers out for £800 or thereabouts but would welcome contructive response if you think I'm off the mark......
