Of course, there's one on there as standard but it has been getting loose. After a short ride doing skids on damp road it's still moving, less but this is getting annoying

With that much torque, I dont think loctite would make any difference. Do you have enough spare thread for a second lock ring? that would solve it for sure.

edit: Probably to do with poor tilerances on the threads if theyre cheaper hubs...

The one hellomiles mentioned is an SR Forged, 60mm reach, 60mm ctrs above min. insertion, nice n shiny but pinch bolt has rust spots. 25.4mm bars (26 at a pinch)... Fiver.

Cheers but ones that come up on ebay are all is US with ridiculous p&p. £15 - 20 p&p for £7 grips. Hubjub are only UK stockists I can find but have been out of stock for a long time as well. Am after natural cork / shellaced ones.

by oversize, do you mean 31.8mm clamp? might have something about 90mm by 10 degrees, will have to check though...

What would you take for the forks? how longs the steerer?

When I made a thread asking for a short quill stem yesterday, I got no response :(

If the fort forks are still available, absolutely 100% forst dibs and I'll take them guarunteed. I'm realy, really desperate for a set of forks, and these will suit perfectly.

I presume you do still have them, as it hasn't been marked as sold...

I reckon in the region of £5 per ticket is more reasonable, then if you feel like donating £20, you can quadruple your chances, and still be giving the same ammount of money to charity. a lot of people on here simply can't afford to throw £20 at such a long shot.

I really want the front end, and he really wants the rest. If, between us we make a donation of £150 to 'moving mountains', would you be prepared to let the bike go to 2 very good homes?

I think splitting it up is the fairest way. everyone get's something they need then... I'm in desperate need of forks and a front wheel (and desperately short of money), other people would benefit from other parts, rather than giving it all to one person? Just a suggestion.

Nope, I just want the front end to get my bike up and running again, so I dont have to walk in to lectures in the cold, then I will pay for the postage to split the rest of the bike in pieces between the other forum members, on a first come, first served basis.

If you're playing the 'skint' card, I'm a poor student who needs transport after a car ran over the front of his bike, writing the forks off. all i need if the fork and front wheel, then the rest will be distributed, in pieces amongst lfgss free of charge, as you wished.
