I had an 800 and now have an 810. No major differences (except the bluetooth hookup as hippy mentioned and a slightly different interface). This logs your rides via your phone automatically to Garmin Connect but seems to reduce battery life a bit as expected. Also comes with a different mounting that sits in front of the bar. Get the 800 if you want to save some dollar as they're going cheap these days. Wouldn't say that it's worth the extra you pay for the 810.

Just seen something really suspicious. Last week I was having a drink at the Alma pub in Wandsworth Town and I saw a 25-35 yr old guy riding a Langster Monaco (White with blue and red detail) with distinctive green bartape. I literally just saw a dodgy looking 16-18 yr old riding exactly the same bike up the road at the parade of shops at the top of East Hill.
My bike was stolen just a few days ago from the same place as I saw the boy, which is why I was so suspicious. I followed him from afar as I was sure the bike was stolen, and saw which house he went into.
Does anyone know someone who has had a bike matching this description stolen in Wandsworth over the past week? The green bartape was particularly distinctive. If so please get them to get in contact with me!

Was a little distraught last night so will try again.
This is the frame but it had been built up from the ground up. Full Dura-ace 7800, Black wheels with DT SWISS 240 hubs and Stans rims with Sapim CX Ray spokes (all black), DEDA ZERO bar and stem. Black Toupe pro saddle and standard black cork tape. Was stolen at the top of East Hill outside the newsagents opposite Book House in Wandsworth Town. I was there with it just talked to a friend quickly inside the shop, literally disappeared in 20 seconds. I'm usually so careful but had a moment of insanity. Worst thing that has ever happened. Please everyone keep your eyes peeled and let me know if you see anything!

It's all well and good practicing on a broom, but you'll want to attempt a bar before going for broke. It's the curvature of a drop bar that's going to cause problems. The hardest bar to wrap neatly is a drop bar with no levers and a classic drop imo. It's going to be the continuity of the section sizes that will be toughest part I reckon. Loving that harlequin pattern though, going to have to give it a try! + another when I mess it up...

This is what I've used for our unsupported Pyrenees/Alps trips over the last few years. Seriously can't fault its functionality, doesn't move at all (like I hear the classic ones do?) and stayed pretty waterproof, even when over-packed. Obviously doesn't look as nice as the classic options but works seriously well. I would also agree that their customer service is second-to-none; I've dealt with them a few times..

While the cops might not be able to do anything straight away, always think it's good to send them any stuff for their intelligence. Often helps them plan what operations to do and helps with building cases in case anybody is ever nicked.
Drop a quick email to .
Cheers Winter, I have sent them an email with all the information I have, will let people know what comes of it, if anything.

Agreed: try and get an isla if possible. Suspension is pointless, but I think gears on a 24" bike will be preferable, good time to introduce them to the concept. Avoid Halfords, none of those bikes are worth spending money on. A 24" bike should still last 3 years if they are right at the smallest to begin with, and you can always sell them on easily.

That's not what everyone using Di2 is saying.
Indeed, but they are still in control of when they shift gear, so can adjust pedalling accordingly, if you see what I mean. Although the shift is electronic the interaction between legs and fingers is still exactly the same. The shifting on Di2 is fecking sweet! Bloody weird at first though..
Re-use the current tyre. Clean the cloth of the tyre with acetone and remove excess glue from the rim. Glue and refit. The leftover glue will help the new stuff take.
