Good to see teams registering up!!
You'll receive your registration pack on arrival, Friday night location tba. Packs will have a map, schedule and we hope to have an event t shirt for you in there too. T shirts will be top quality, House of Pistard are doin a number on them, design based on the poster, should be sweet.
Got some of the local independent bike shops interested in coming along with cheap tyres and tubes if folk need repairs at the tourney. Should have a work bench too, if more technical mechanicals happen.
Also, Andy is screen printing a limited number of the poster with none of the text on, clean and simple poster for sale on the day.
Thats' all the news for now. Get amongst it.

I didn't know whether to put this in videos or in news.
http://local.stv.tv/edinburgh-west/news/255407-3-2-1-polo-edinburgh-bike-polo-take-to-the-streets/
Did a small demo game for Edinburgh council as a way of securing UKBPC funding. No barriers so we were playing tame, but still good fun. This is in one of Edinburgh's busiest streets in the city centre.
But then.. if you know what you're doing, you can make a vid like this.
The vid is feel-good to-fuck. Pure positive polo vibes. Come to our tourney, we want you all to have a good time:

One of our guys is mates with a guy who owns a sweet hostel, right in the centre of town. It is next to the meadows and minutes from the centre of town.
Furthermore, there is garage space for storing bikes. 3 bed rooms cost £27 if you book direct from them, not through an agency site, so saving you some monies:

It is a total shame about the court being slippy. Im not playing my game. Im dabbin too.
When you test a surface, you know, you drag your tyre across the floor. When we did that, there was rubber marks and that, it was really grippy. It is probably just painted surfaces that, when played on them for a bit, they get slippy. We are gonna try and sort it out. Gutted it got slippy, but all and all, the games have been good (cosmic v spring break was immense).
Any suggestions to help grip up a court welcomed. So far we have had cola and salt. Will try em tomorrow, with the approval of the venue people of course, who have been amazing and need much respect!
See you courtside tomorrow, hungover and bleery eyed. Party was fucking hilarious!!
