I was a very promising semi contact and light continuous club level martial artist until being passenger in a car crash killed that dream permenantly, beat several high up people at club level but never got the chance to go national.
I snowboard if that counts....
I used to play badminton at club level, got bored of all the politics though and now just play socially on occasion.
Right now and for pretty much all of next year my focus is as captain of a tournament paintball team, and the upcoming season, tournament paintball is completely different to normal "play with your mates" paintball. We have had several wins in friendlys against division 1 teams and one against an international div 1 team, however next year will be this teams first full season together. Feel free to visit www.millennium-series.com and check out the videos etc to understand what tournament paintball is all about. -
Awesome collection, apart from the burton crap :p, are your lib tech boards and your evil twin not offended by the very presence of such inferior workmanship hehe. So are you still in posession of all of the above boards?
Also union data bindings, very nice choice, but if you like them check out saloman relay pro's amazing all mountain free style binding, rocked by such greats as david benedek.....and me haha.
Mervin boards forever, my gnu 11up is indestructible! -

Fair play on talking shit about a bike, or questioning its authenticity.
But to those internet cowards hiding behind their keyboards making empty threats and insults aimed at the advertiser and his son, you are pathetic, grow some balls or shut up.....better yet just shut up, online wannabe tough guys disgust me.
I'm with ononelangster on this one, don't make threats online that you're too much of a wimp to hand out in real life, it just shows you up for the coward you are. I've made some awesome friends lately, and met some really cool people on this forum, its a shame it seems to also be a breeding ground for several arse-wipes, that clearly have
self-confidence issues which they are projecting onto other people in the form of bullying, insults, and a generally bad attitude.
I personally think this could be rectified by appointment of a couple of Moderators, there needs to be some kind of content control and bans handed out to people behaving like this. -

Twigdip, riding fixed without clips or straps is lunacy IMO, you gain so much: control, pedal stroke efficiency, not to mention stopping power! Hence why you never see anyone with any common sense riding fixed without one of the above. Do yourself a favour get some clips or straps sooner rather than later,
(I prefer double toe straps) because inevitably you will need them if you want to be able to control your bike at any kinda speed above 10mph. -
haha oh seen your that guy who wanted a fight, i'm over it, you should be too, and more to the point i don't particularly wanna get in a fight with someone i dont know. i'm not interested in a petty squabble about me laughing at your arrospoks. if you still wanna fight your not gonna get one.
p.s you rode past me in the opposite direction down clerkenwell road saturday before last, that was probably your last chance to give me a beat down
Wow.....another internet tough guy........
Tricks was wicked fun tonight, it was great catching up with you guys and chatting about how awesome the party was saturday night and macaframa etc, ononelangster you got some moves mate, hopefully I will eventually master those kinda wheelie skills soon, and your about 99% the way to nailing those keo spins as well, i'm sure I saw you land one or two?
Chris.....you bastard, damn you and your uber smooth wheelies, I need to practice practice, practice!
Slaytanic, I think I met you? although I'm not sure, i'm real tired today.
Twas good fun hangin out as per usual even if it was bloody freezinnnnnnnnnnnn! -

as I said earlier, order prints from photobox, they usually send out a calibration print with your first order (looks like a TV test card), they have the same image on the website, so you can compare the two as you twiddle your monitiors knobs!...
It's a few years since I did this, so worth checking if they still do this....
Sorry but I would be inclined to diagree, the quality of their prints are far inferior to "The Printspace", The printspace is where its at, best quality photographic prints out there in my opinion and a selection of top notch papers, combined with one of the best c-type printers money can buy means: printspace>>>>photobox

Well done mate, i've been in a smilar (job related not the other stuff) situation in the past for other reasons, it turns out leaving/being asked to leave was one of the best things I could have done, i'm now in a job where i'm earning more money and working with great people, and more importantly much happier, good luck mate :)

I got busted in the middle of the treasure cat the other day, I rode past them across a 4 way junction following jbcommuter as I was going way too fast to stop as it was just changing red, so I thought fuck it, its almost.... just about..... probably not RLJ'in.....well turns out I was wrong haha. I heard some sirens etc, not thinking it was for me I sped up to get around some parked cars to give the bacon-mobile some room, then as I checked my shoulder again they were beeping and waving at Justin so I was like shit they're pullin him.
Turns out they wanted to give us both a bollocking, but once we gave an ever so humble apology, we were let on our way fine free, and that my friends is why we didn't take first in the treasure-cat........its my story....and i'm sticking to it! -

the day started wicked when me and the mate i came with both won the trainers and helmet from the raffle but then got worse as on the treasure hunt my partner lost the sheet thing and we were doing really well but ended up not bothering to finish :( good day none the less!
Romain is that you mate? hows the randomly damaged toe? yesterday and last night was awesome! especially the bike tower in your hallway haha
-
Yeah the treasure cat was fantastic, well done to the organisers! massive thumbs up from me and everyone I spoke to! highlights of the race:
Jumping every single red light on the way to West London and on the way back! getting pulled over by the Bacon and NOT getting fined, despite cutting them up on the way over a red light without realising! hell yeah!
Seeing Justin almost knock over about 30 people in a row with his crazy people dodging antics on Regent Street, it was like ten pin bowling.....with more pins!
Oh yeah and getting 8th place! Team Broken number 69! -
Yeah, but don't forget THAT section near the end - only one to get unanimous applause! That was worth seeing.
Get yourself a viewing mister teenslayer, there's enough nice bikes for you to lust after.
^ That was truly awesome......and the intro was something else!
I had the time of my life yesterday and i'm sure everyone else did as well, what a great treasure cat, 8th place to number 69 TEAM BROKEN !!!!!! WOO YEAH
We got into Hamleys for the BIG points!, now that was tough! jump the barrier FTW!
The party was pretty damn good to! I jumped on a bmx for the first time in nearly two years, and despite my legs being so fucked I could barely stand, I managed a few 180's which I never quite pulled back round cos my legs lacked the energy!, some brief manuals, and bunnyhops hehe! yes I was the big dude in the blue hoody making an ass of myself on bad santa's bmx! cheers for letting me ride it mate, that made my night!* I almost wanna rebuild my fitbike frame knocking around in my bedroom after that!*
The party carried on for me and a few other guys well into the early hours at The Macbeth, oh yeah Alex DRUMS OF DEATH RULES! good taste mate, Romain your mates know some seriously HOT girls! and hope the toe gets better soon! I later ended up catching up with "crabtree" Chris, who shall now in the future, be referred to only as: "The Chris"...... sucks you lost your "special package" mate, i'm sure you needed it after what happened down Hoxton Street haha!
Just to let you know, ollie up a bank at the side of the piste to 270 is all well and good, just don't do a celebratory punch of the air immediately after you land, otherwise it can result in an instant and rather nasty face plant........my nose hurts.....
