yes! just bolt the hub in there to squeeze it to 120, no need to bend it - my frame has been like this for almost 2 years. time flies, eh?
(Dogsballs was a far more valuable member when he only posted Big LEbowski quotes... before he thought he knew anything about bicycles and suchlike.. :-P)Thanks both. I'll go away and learn about cold setting now :)

some things never change, eh wayno?
This place has been cliquey and unfriendly for ages...
EDIT - post #44 proves that object is not normal.Interesting. I guess now Forums are more commonplace, some of us forum newbies might just have experienced other forums, and so take a different approach to the clique-unwelcome response to a first post.
All these guys/gals want to do is put the newcomer in his place. Good effort guys/gals - I'd give it an 8/10. Nice to meet you already, so... where do I need to stand?
Maybe I can start a newbie conga line?

Wow! What a response.
I'm sure it's not that important if it's called Project Fixed or Project Fixie, but maybe you can point me to the glossary that proves otherwise? Yeah... you can use the sticks from your backsides to do the pointing and maybe loosen up a bit whilst you're at it.
FFS. What a welcoming bunch.

I did, and you'll notice I was quick to offer thanks.
