A proper investigation of this really *does *need to be carried out. To make sure it isn't an intermittent problem, you need to keep a record of what's going on. I suggest you start stockpiling the water in containers so that the proper authorities can make their own assessment of the problem - tests will need to be carried out on **each **container. You may think it's easier to do this is large containers for convenience (e.g. a bucket, washing up bowl, dog) but smaller containers will give better accuracy. Label each container. If no-one has contacted you about the problem within 5 days, continue to collect the water.
I would, but I'm using all my available jars, bowls, bottles, etc to store my own urine.

You don't dsay if it is the hot or cold tap, the cold should be a direct mains feed not via a storage tank, the hot will be via some kind of boiler, could be a combi (heats the water when you need it) or a traditional type storage tank.
I think that Town is right, but if it is electric I would expect it to be via both the hot and cold kitchen taps. If electric you really need an electrician to check the system.
It's both taps. I'm going to contact the estate agent and have her send someone by to check it out.

The title of this made me laugh hard.
If it hurts that bad I wouldn't drink it.
What are your pipes made from?I have no idea, to be honest. But it's just the kitchen, so it seems a bit odd. On the bright side, they're currently changing all the water pipes in the area right now (my road is all torn up), so it might fix the issue.

^highly appropriate use^
Well, my concern is not so much the pain as what might be causing it. It's all very well and good to 'HTFU' and deal with it (which is what I have been doing), but if it's some kind of chemical or something that might be harmful, then I'd really like to know so I could do something about it.

So this has nothing to do with bikes. And no, I did not perform a search to see if this question had been answered previously!
I recently moved into a new flat, and the water from the kitchen tap hurts. Really. Regardless of the pressure or temperature of the water, it stings badly whenever it touches any kind of cut or scrape on my hands (like hangnails, etc). It feels almost like pouring alcohol on a cut, or maybe being jabbed with a needle.
The water from the other taps in my flat do not do this (and thank god the shower doesn't). Any idea what is causing this? Anyone else ever have this problem?
The water tastes fine and looks ok. Although now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't drink it.

I am wondering when, if ever, we will win again!
He does like a moan does Raffa, must have been reading Arsene Wegners biography. But yeah, its getting a little tiresome now I must admitI think he needs to stop looking to lay the blame on everyone else. Sure, Liverpool aren't playing brilliantly right now, but no one is, really. Man U might be doing ok, but they looked a bit flat yesterday. Plus, their players are dropping like flies!
I think Liverpool can still potentially win the league, but it seems like Benitez has already conceded.

From Eurosport:
*Rafael Benitez: "One team was trying to win and the other team was trying not to lose. We dominated the game, controlled everything but it was just one mistake and they have scored. They were coming for a draw, we were trying to win. It is hard against a team with 10 players always behind the ball, but I was very pleased with our performance. We know some teams will do the same thing and defend. We just have to learn to upset them and to attack."*
GIve me a break. What a whiner. I have nothing against Liverpool (other than them stealing Robbie Keane from Spurs), but stuff like this makes it very hard not to kind of hate Rafa Benitez. He can't just accept the fact that he didn't win. Why does it have to always be some kind of conspiracy with him?

I have an '08 Lemond Fillmore and I like it just fine. That said, you'd probably want to change out a lot of the hardware over time. But I guess that's the deal with any OTP. I bought the Fillmore b/c it has a longer top tube and a higher standover height than the Fuji and Charge. It's not the lightest bike in world, but not bad. My only real complaint is that it is covered in words... LeMond and Bontrager on almost every bit of available space!
