ah, haven't seen that they've got a uk website, must be new.. but the cheapest I could find them for in an actual shop, where I bought them, (doesnt seem like you can order them directly from white industries uk) was 154£ from charlie the bikemonger (http://www.charliethebikemonger.com/userimages/procart7.htm)... thats for cranks only, plus 37£ for the chainring... plus 20£ for the bottom bracket, = 211£... i'd be surprised if london fields cycles, brick lane bikes or mosquito acutally sold the cranks for 134£, but maybe i'm wrong.

update: price drop
Here I have a great condition White Industries ENO crankset (170mm) and 42t chainring
really awesome strong cranks, machined from aluminum & light as f&ck. IMO some of the best cranks out there.
As said before they're in great condition, I bought them a while ago and used them on my ''second'' bike, so haven't been used much. Have a few scratches from the pedals and normal use, but otherwise they're great. I'll clean the pieces properly for the sale.
Will include great Tange bb with steel cups (113mm, fits these cranks), bought new from velosolo.
all in all I spent 200£+ on this, so 140£ would be fair I think.
edit: i'll now take 120£ if anyone's interested.
Thanks for looking!

hey dude,
i have a nitto pearl 80mm, nearly brand new was just used for a few months, before i got a steamroller frame. bought from hubjub for 55£. A bit scratched at insert point, as you can see from the picture. I'd say no less than 35£... dont mind posting...
photobucket's beeing really annoying so here's a link to the other pic with the scratches:

if you want some bling I have a set of White Industries ENO 42t single speed chainset (http://www.whiteind.com/cranks/singlespeedcranks.html) plus a tange bottom bracket, cost me 200£ new (cranks - 150£, ring 30£, bottom bracket 20£, plus shipping from america), would sell for 140£. It's the silver model, is as new, but has a few scratches here and there.
as for your bb, if its a fairly new frame and built in the UK or USA its most probably british threaded... the bb axle size depends on your chainset.
http://www.londonfgss.com/thread3372-6.html great thread which shows what other people use on their chainsets, is a good guideline. AFAIK sugino messenger chainsets use 103mm bottom brackets. You can buy them cheap over ebay, wiggle or chainreactioncycles, although www.velosolo.com has a good selection of high quality bb's. If you can find the relevant axle length for your cranks I would try to get ones with metal cups, the cheap shimano un54s are ok but i've stripped the plastic threads on a few.

you could also get a chain tensioner, which you can then tighten with a wrench....

Stolen: Pompino & fuji
Hi Guys & Girls,
my girlfriend & flatmates bikes were stolen out of our garden wednesday night... girlfriend is really gutted (and I am too since I built it for her!), and of course its totally my fault since a momentary lapse in paranoia allowed me to leave it in the garden in the first place.
The bikes are: 1. a white On One Pompino in 49cm size, with the decals taped up, silver riser bars with teal grips and a fat grey / blue bmx stem, and a white charge saddle. Wheels are alexrims cheapies.
- fairly standard blue threaded model Fuji Track, size 52cm, with silver risers and white ourys.
If you see either of these bikes on brick lane or when doing your usual rounds on ebay or gumtree please please give me a message or email on c.ferstad[at]gmail.com
They were stolen out of the back of our house on wilton way (in dalston), next to the prince george pub, many of you will know this one ;)
we all know the moral of the story for this and other too frequent tales... i'm kicking myself REAL hard on this one. UGH.
Thanks a lot for reading, and thanks for your help...!

I agree... it may be easier on your pocket if you were to just use something horrible and cheap, I would guess that most petty bike theft is not concerned with the look of the bike, some kid who liberates bikes would probably sell a custom track bike or a crappy alu mtb each for a tenner, doesnt matter to them.
Or are you trying to map out a specific bike theft racket that targets track bikes? ie. what areas they're stolen, and where they're brought (chop shop)?
OR maybe i'm missing the point and you're trying to figure out what the best way to track your own stolen bike would be... ahhh... in that case its probably best as the others said to get your friend to ''steal'' it, eh.
