Too much stuff!
After sterling service since the '80s my old Ribble is now rusty rubble, frame is knackered sadly and never to be resurrected, so there is now a mound of parts annoying Mrs. Spoor which have to go. Enough here to build up an older road frame for somebody. Some old, some new etc...**Fixed/SS Wheel **
36H Campagnolo Lambda Strada aero rim on Maillard flip/flop hub, new 16T sprocket with cyclo lockring one side 17t Shimano free-wheel on other side, spaced for 126mm road frame, runs well and straight. Good condition. Confess I only ever used the single speeded side.
23mm Pro Race with life left in it and a tube with one patch included if you want it.
£50 SoldColumbus Forks
Spinner branded Columbus 700c chrome road forks with brake hole but no guard eyes, steerer tube 180mm with 80mm of thread, never got round to using them, as new and in excellent condition, modern not vintage fare.
£40 SoldProfile Design Bars
"Airwing" bullhorn/pursuit bars, 26mm clamp, matt black, internal brake cable, used with Tektro levers below, comfy and light, very good condition.
£20 SoldTektro Levers
TT brake levers, to fit ends of bullhorns, pretty good nick but some scuffing of black anodising. Still have the cables if you want them.
£10 pair SoldPedals & Clips
Tioga Surefoot pedals with Christophe toeclips, scuffed and scratched but sturdy usable pedals, right one has little play in bearing.
£7Live Acton, work Dalston or Covent Garden, PM to buy, collect or meet up.

Happy to say that the boy Paraffin is back to himself after the sewing incident, more bendy than ever.
We had a magnetic cat flap for a while it was not so great, but did provide amusement when we worked out that the clatter from the kitchen was Caldicot with an empty tuna tin from the bin bag attached to his collar!

Watch out when you're sewing!
This little fella - Paraffin - ate a needle and thread on Wednesday evening he's ok now after a 1am operation which has destroyed the credit card... going to the vet again tomorrow, not quite himself yet.
he's been getting food stuck in his cone! Which is funny at first then a little sad.
Seriously though thread is really bad for their guts even without a needle. -

Hi imp, drawings def needed here!
Why not source an old hot shoe and simply make an angled bracket?
Many people use this for small specialist parts with good results: http://www.emachineshop.com/
You can draw online don't need CAD software. -

Well, I found the shite good shite.
Film's a different kettle fish and people have perhaps other demands of it.
I liked the space, time scale, small gestures and details of the relationship on screen better than in the novels around similar themes.
Enjoyed Kafka On The Shore very much, it has some of his best characters and a great deal of wit.
Look out for Johnny Walker.

"Just read "The Wind Up Bird Chronicles" ...Murakami's finest IMO."
Too right, I love the writing and world of Murakami.
However, as one would expect, his most popular are his least imaginative.
It's a matter of personal preference of course, but I prefer the dense, layered, freewheeling and unresolved to the rather sentimental although tender examinations of relationships.
Dance Dance Dance was a winner for me and Wild Sheep Chase too.
Some good stuff in Hard Boiled Wonderland as well.
Mr Smyth have you seen Toni Takitani? Murakami resisted movies for an age but this was one of the most beautiful pieces of cinema I have seen in recent years.
Go Mechamorgan! a seeking mind is a great thing - we are surrounded by the consumers of dumb pop culture all too afraid to do anything not validated by their "mates."
A crowd is usually my cue to head another way.....
The pretentious do not read the books they merely exhibit them upon their furniture to be seen by others, Rouleur anyone? -

Hi I don't know but if Mr Crane says Aende I'll go with it.
It has a beautiful paint job with script for one Luc van Acker (Belgian?) and a shop in Ostend on non drive side? Frame is numbered and it has shimano dropouts.
Bought it a year ago from Jos (TdeV) and I love it.
Any other info from the Crane? -
