I'm in brum for university so thought I'd post here as I'm looking to find a (cheap) fixed/flip flop wheelset as I've acquired an old pug road racer with the aim to turn it into my first fixie.
I may have a wheelset for you, I will have a look at it when I get home. What size hub spacing are you after?

Hawtin as Plastikman would for me have been a far better booking, Hawtin's djing hasn;t really done it for me for years.
No Ceephax on the lineup either so you won't get a repeat of this

I've been the last 4 years to bloc and I'm gutted I'll probably miss out on it for the following reasons
its only 2 days!
having to deal with the normal world after a rave session
no back to the chalet action
no seaside on your doorstep
no arcades
£25 for vip queues? wtf!
The lineup for this years looks a lot better than the last one and I'll be gutted to miss Monolake as his set at Hemsby was top notch.
If they book Kraftwerk of course I reserve the right to change my mind! -

Cannondale F700 with Lefty Fork, getting on for 10 years+ and still a nice bike to ride.

One for 2012 that I have just entered
http://www.madmarchharesportive.co.uk/
The Mad March Hare is a mini-Sportive taking place on Sunday 4th March 2012.
The event is intended as a warm-up for the summer calendar of Sportives. Because of the unpredictable weather and shorter days, we've kept the distance manageable on fast and safe, open country roads which will take riders through quiet, beautiful North Worcestershire 'chocolate-box' villages and hamlets.
The route is generally flat except for a couple of tasty climbs and then we've thrown in a heavy going route home, enough to test the fittest of riders' legs! This year the route is slightly different again...and we're keeping the entry fee as low as possible as normal.
You can expect the following for your entry fee:
A safe, quiet, picturesque route
A clearly way-marked route with day-glo signage.
Route-card backup.
1 Feed station, food and drinks will be provided.
Individual Times for all
Professional photography of the event
HQ with toilets
FREE offroad parking
FREE Hot/Cold Drinks before and after your ride
FREE Bacon Baps & Hot Dogs after your ride
Headquarters
The HQ for the event is Becketts Farm, Heath Farm, Alcester Road, Wythall B47 6AJ. For a map click here.Entry Fee
The entry fee for this event is £12.00 for Pre-entry and £15.00 EOL.Due to the popularity of the event in 2009, 2010 and 2011, for 2012 we are moving to a larger venue which allows us to increase the entry limit up to 500 riders on a first come first-served basis.
Entries open October 2011.

The Great Divide Route / Race?
"The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) is a continuous long distance cycling route from Banff, Alberta, Canada to Antelope Wells, New Mexico, USA. As of 2010, the route is 2745 miles (4417 KM) long; its length is likely to change over time as the GDMBR is continually being refined to improve it. The GDMBR was developed by the Adventure Cycling Association (ACA) and was inaugurated in 1998.[1] A set of highly detailed route maps is available from the ACA. A guidebook has also been published."

Freecycle
Cateye ABS 10 10w halogen light with battery and charger
I'm getting rid of it as the bottle cage mount which the battery clips onto has brokeyou should be able to pick one up off ebay or maybe from Cateye, as I'm using some Cree flashlights I don't need it anymore

This is all based around where I used to grow up, I'd be really impressed if anyone does this fixed as some of the hills are seriously steep - Worlds End and Minera to Gwynfryn must be close to 1 in 4, Worlds End has the added benefit of a slippy ford crossing half way up it.
The climb up to the Horseshoe pass is a nice long climb but I think I only ever did it on my mountain bike.

Cannock is probably one of my favourite places to ride just for the amount of times I can go up there and still be discovering new stuff that the trail fairies have laid down
The trail centres in Wales are all pretty good as well with the trails at Nant y Arian being the best one that I've ridden.
