I should add that what i'm really after is a garish colour, like hot pink or something. (I dont think i mentioned this in the other thread, and the link that was posted seems to be the only uk place that offered small amounts of powder; unfortunately in pretty standard colours. ( I can allready get white black etc but all my bloody bikes have been white or black!)

" it's usually £20/25 for the blasting and the same again for coating" - I emailed armourtex and they wanted 65 english pounds to strip then paint. @ tommy - cheers for your advice - My dad works in a factory though. the reason I'm after paint is that I want an exciting colour; and they can only order in bulk. The smallest box of paint they can get in costs 80 quid which makes armourtex cheaper; and they aren't exactly cheap...

yeah I have done but they were a bit shitty about it... I suppose it doesn't make good business sense for them to sell me paint if they can charge me £65 quid to paint it for me... I want to paint my bike obviously ;-)

does anyone here have any Ties to metal working or a paint workshop? I'm trying to source a small amount of powder coat, say 1 lb or so - and am having trouble... found some yanks on tinterwebs but they want 50 dollars postage! any help much appreciated

Does any one know any british suppliers willing to sell powder coating paint in small quantities? I'm after around a lb of paint... googled it but can only find american companies who are either unwilling to post to the UK or want to charge me 50 dollars to do so...

any ideas?
