I have two frames both with 1" steerers, & non integrated headsets.
smooth finish Vitus with alu forks currently with Campag 170 cranks ( Vitus revived the name a while back before the current resurgence). The forks aren't drilled.
Quest Scandium with drilled carbon forks with Campag 170 cranks- new Dolan stainless rear ends were fitted but not resprayed. The welding on this one is the usual TIG finish.
I can do pics- let me know if interested.

What year please ?
I know in 1970 my chain rings were 44/54
5 or 6 speed block ?
Looks to be a tub on the front, but the rear has me confused as it looks to be a clincher (HP in those days...)
Are there replacements around for the lever hoods please ? I had Universal levers....
One of the guys in my Racing Club had a lime green one - looked Ab Fab at the time
Cheap as chips ! Ok French fries then...

Ok. I got caught out before, reported it all to Mr Plod, also was put in touch with the guys place of work so had a conversation there.
Mr Plod came up trumps by having a word in his ear.
Have the courage & confidence to talk to Mr Plod, in their eyes it's Fraud so they're on it like a rash.
Collate all together as advised, trot to Cop Shop, tell it like it is, sign on the dotted line, let Mr Plod do his job, go to the Pub & await the call.
Ps use the thread pages as evidence too.
Good Luck

Sorry Marryann the spokes aren't razor sharp, the trailing edge of eg a HED3 trips poke is sharp & the spokes are actually plastic rather than the carbon peeps think they are.
Yes, as you might guess I did own one, second generation, I had great success on it too- mine was the blue anodising. I sold it to my Plumber in the end.
Yours does look in remarkable condition. Wheels & seat post are £130 quids worth on their own :-)
Good luck with the sale :-)

Ah yes I knew " Fatty" Russell - always thought to be to a shade dodgy.....we are talking 1968 / 69 when he used to come into Pat Rohan's shop trying to flog stuff, ah happy ish days....
Looks like the Russell emblem was pilfered for the club Swan Velo - a break away of the Hillingdon CC when a rift occurred- not unusual in the cycling world unfortunately

24.5 frame for a Pub/Rat bike, unknown make with bits of chrome poking through a rattle can spray, stem looks to be Cinelli is stuck in the frame.
Freebie - can meet at a Central Tube station for a hand over.
Nose damaged saddle can go with it.
